Sorry to inform you but the AC/DC version of the Hyperion EOS 5i does NOT have a built in balancer. It only has new display options when using a balancer. Though you do get the convenience of being able to use AC power or DC. That's always a plus.

did you get any further on this project rooter? mine seems a bit undergeared using 4cell a123's. i used a 12t pinion and from a stand still it hops all 4's about 4-5 times and is at full speed in what seems about 3 seconds. i'm over 30mph i think, but its my slowest rc top speed wise right now. i'm sure the racers would love my gearing, scary responsive and quick.

I got my charger today that i ordered a week after i ordered my battery, stupid maxamps is taking forever, i wish i would have noticed that mike sold the battery i was gonna buy before i made my order to maxamps but im stupid and now i get to wait.
but yea im still waiting on all my electronics to come in, most importantly the battery because i still have to make the battery tray and hold down. Im hoping everything gets here by friday so i can get this thing going this weekend. Its taking a little longer than i planned and im ready to have something to drive bigger than 18th scale. |
