The stock gearbox includes a pair of idler shafts, but with the S.S conversion as squee said, there is no need for the gearbox, but what about the shafts. I still need one for the idler.

You should ask mike if he could get you those little idler holder shafts, as there is no point of buying the whole gearbox if your not gonna use it.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 08:44 PM

Yeah. Have you been in touch with mikelately? he did not show up for quite some time.

Sylvester 12.18.2005 08:48 PM

Yes i have, hes online right now! Hes on almost every day!

captain harlock 12.18.2005 08:58 PM

Okay then, Sylvester. I think I made lots of you feel sick with all these childish qestions, however, thanks for helping me find my way into the monster world.

Not at all, the only way to learn is to ask, i rather have millions of questions asked than having a miserable person not asking squat, no problem man, good luck with your build!

Asking questions and getting answers is what the forum is for. No worries.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 09:09 PM

Papa 12.18.2005 09:15 PM

Next question?

captain harlock 12.18.2005 09:19 PM

Well, probably you have seen the center diff used by Promod in his thread which he called david vs goliath. What do you know about it? is it really something?

Sylvester 12.18.2005 09:21 PM

Center diff? Candyman also has a center diff which is quite somthing, i dont really see a need for a center diff in a MT, as that would change it into a truggy.

captain harlock 12.18.2005 09:24 PM

Now that makes some sense. Its for ataining more velocity if I'm not wrong and probably lighter than the traditional tranny of the Maxx trucks.
