Exactly. I am sure that dead spike is going to start stinking soon too, so you might want to stick with the route by Silverado for a while.

Coolbeans, I'll stick with my old route then.

Here's a vid of last nite going home.

Did you ride this morning and how did the batteries do in the "cold"?

snellemin 11.11.2011 12:56 PM

I hurt my foot yesterday, so no biking this morning. I keep the A123's in the house, so they are ok in the cold morning. Me keeping a 2p configuration also helps as they get warm under load and get a bit more power as a result.
BTW, I've been charging the A123's to 3.5V instead of 3.6V. There is barely a difference in mah between 3.5 and 3.6V. My batteries are old now and hold 2000mah per cell. I almost ran out of power once near my house, due to a really strong headwind.

I wish I could move the rear of the bike by 2" for a longer wheel base. I need to learn how to weld.

J57ltr 11.11.2011 04:30 PM

Ummm, I know how to weld

Yours would be so easy since it's a cantalever system.

snellemin 11.11.2011 04:33 PM

I forgot man.......

snellemin 12.02.2011 11:45 PM

I reprogrammed the sensorless controller and now I pop wheelies. Top speed is the same, but man it gets there alot faster I'm also using some Blue Lipo 20C packs now. I'll post more info on that one later once I get some more cycles out of them.

Had some time today and swapped over my stuff into my EVG bike. Running on 24s2p A123 and goes about 33mph. Still need to solder up the brake interrupt wires and add the lights.

That looks like a lot of fun Romano.

Where are the wheelie video's?

Nick

snellemin 03.03.2012 10:08 PM

hahahah. The layout of this bike doesn't allow wheelies like the mountain bike did.

snellemin 03.13.2012 10:47 AM

I wired the brake interrupts, which deactivates the controller when I brake. The cruise control also deactivates when I brake, but engages when release the brakes. Up next is the wire up the horn, second switch to turn of the controller and a 3 speed switch.

Damn impressive bike man does it shift gears by it self?

snellemin 03.26.2012 09:34 PM

It's a fun bike. Going to run 24s1p lipo tomorrow morning and see how it does.
