They only come in white and yellow. My guess is he dyed them like you did your arms.

I wonder the same about hitting arms. I notice my stocker drags the arms some
with the 3.3 knuckles. It looks good though. I like the looks. What is the effects of roll over being narrower? |
Coolhand, the Walbashes make it 1" narrower, so it would be like a original pre-WideMaxx.

I don't think so since the rims are wider than the stock Maxx rims. So even more offset is placed on the inside.

Hello all. Yes its a bit narrower but still able to get full lock, ive not run them yet, I may not. I still have plenty on my other wheels/tyres, might keep these for show.

Depends what you need to gear it at, im usung 12/56 at the moment doubt this will help you though. Do you have a transmission or just a center section like me?

i currently have a emaxx tranny locked in 2nd....with a 66/13, topend is nice but it does run quite warm...
my dom slipper just got shipped in but have yet to pick it up from the LHS..so i am unsure what the spur size is.... as i wont be upgrading my BL system anytime soon, i wouldnt wanna spend all that effort grafting the dom slipper onto my gmaxx only to find that i cant gear down sufficiently....and i cant "up" the tooth count for the spur gear too large as it would hit the x braces on the gmaxx and cause bidding issues with the dogbones to the front and rear diffs as the angle goes steeper as the tooth count goes up. hence my concerns.... |
I wouldn't use the hv-maxx on such a direct-drive, unless you are stepping up to the HB diffs with the 43/10 ratio.
Your 66/13 and 2nd gear gives you about a 9 to 1 gearing ratio. the 56/10 slipper/pinion would give you a 5.6 to 1.. Stock diffs are 37/13 and the HB diffs are 43/10, meaning your total gearingratio now would be something like 25 to 1 .With the slipper (56/10) with HB diffs would give you an 24 to 1 with stock diffs and the slipper, that would be like 16 to 1. My word of advice; if you want awesome runtime and speed from your hv-maxx get a 4S lipo setup! you'll love it. |
