I like some heavy metal
music, but agree with the people saying the screaming ruins it for a lot of bands, so I don't listen to that many metal bands. My brother does so I know some of the bands listed. Good metal is the best type of music though I think.
My favourite band at the moment would probably be Opeth (someone called them melodic death metal, which kind makes sense if you've listened to them a bit). Saw them in September and they were pretty good. There not quite as fast as some other metal, and you have to get used to long songs with Opeth, since the average song is over 8 minutes long, but that's part of what I like about them.
