the new Extended E-Maxx Chassis

Does anyone know if the Extended E-Maxx Chassis on rc-monster is the new one? The pic is old on the site.

which one gmaxx or flm

ncalenda 06.17.2007 11:36 PM

Sorry, I forgot to say which one, flm.

I want it for bashing, and that seems to be a good one, it is tough, and fairly light.

i love my flm chassis. no garuntee but when i ordered mine the pic was different and i got the one currently picured. usually what happens is when mike runns out of stock he just gets the newest version. so depending how his stock is when it came out would depend on if he needed to order more new ones. EMail him to make sure.

I just recieved new FLM chassis for friend and looks exactly the same as mine that is 9 months old. The only difference is the antenna mount included.

It's the newest version, black dogbone, new drivecups and deeper/wider pockets for lipo's.

mine was shipped straight from FLM.. when I bought it from Mike... love the chassis..

ncalenda 06.21.2007 05:35 PM

aqwut, Ya, I emailed Mike and he said it is the latest.

I have a question, the steering kit, was that a direct fit? I have a kit just like the pro-line, from another vendor, all the same dimensions. I'm sure it does, but with the plastic chassis the rods slide into platic arms, but I don't see those on the FLM chassis.

this is how the proline kit looks on the flm chassis

Nice, looks good, I like the idea of having the spring, mine doesn't and the wheels seem to have some play in the front.

its servo saver like in standard 1/8 vehicles and not the puny plastic thingie directly on servo :)
works great with my JR DZ9000T

jhautz 06.21.2007 06:52 PM

Yea, the proline servo saver is a huge improvement over the stock setup.

But the UE is worlds better yet. I was having a hard time holding a consistant line thru corners with the stock setup so I went to the proline setup and it made a huge improvement. UE made even more improvement later.

Either are fore sure a worthy upgrade.

GorillaMaxx360 06.21.2007 11:35 PM

does anybody know where i can get a ue servo saver setup

jhautz 06.22.2007 12:02 AM

UE is always out of stock. They pop up every once in a while and you have to grab them when they do. I snagged mine off ebay. You could check there too.

Serum 06.22.2007 01:29 AM

About the UE; you never know when its being produced again, don't hold your breath, and don't be too surprised if they are in stock all of a sudden. No one knows.
