COME ON!! I NEED SOME STUFF!!! I GOT 2 revos, jr xs3 pro! some1 must want one!! PLZZ!!!
I wish i could help. I like to have a revo to experment with. Don't have a brushless system to give up.
OKay! i'll but one also!! I'll trade and buy!
HEEEEELPP ME!!! ii've been looking for over 3 months!!! IM SERIOUS!! i can never find a decent deal on a used one!!! I've been looking ever since i joind rc-monster!!! HELPPP MEEEEEEE!!! IM DYING HERE!!!! NITRO IS EVIL!!!!! NOOOO
Dont sound so desperate man. 3 months is a long time that you could have hustled some money or sold a revo to buy a BL. You might want to do that seeing as this is a BL flourishing forum and not many people want to get rid of them and everyone wants one, I want one big time too.
well i can! but i never buy new, i rather get a used one so i wont loose as much money if i decide to sell
If I could I would buy new in a heart beat. BL is growing. If you decide to sell there will be buyers for it.
I traded one of my revos for an e-maxx and 3pK and mamba ITB!! Im willing to trade either of them for a brushless!!! I also got a rc18t with mamba. HELP ME!!
It's hard to find a BL for trade. Unless you want a Novak HV :p
On top of that, most people who like Brushless are not into nitro. I would try to sell something and buy a new one. You can get a serious combo for under 300 here. I would like to help you, but could only spare a motor, if anything at all, and oversea shipping fees and ridiculous swiss customs would make a deal rather pointless. sorry, but good luck nevertheless. DAF |
thx anyway, MEEEEEE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNTTTT BRUSHLESSSSSSSS NOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!! any1 interested????
Do stuff on your own. Instead of trying to trade your stuff for BL, why not just sell it, take the cash, and buy a new system? A new system has a warantee that assures you it will work, and will work better than a used one anyway......if a used one dies, you got quite a bit less "pull" for trying to get it fixed or replaced. Also, Feigaos are relatively cheap, so buy the controller first (that's the expensive part) with cash from a vehicle sale, then do odd jobs to come up with the $80 or so you need for the motor.
Right now, you're depending on others to solve your problem, and it's not working. Take the initiative and go for it yourself. :) |
heres the thinig, ima cheap a$$$ chinese kid!!! i havent seen a single movie in theaters for 2 years cuz i d/l them!i dont really care about the performacne, as long as the car aint got like 20 mph slower.
Race doesn't matter, I'm a cheap white kid, and haven't seen a movie on my own coin in almost a year as well. Even before I had a job, I saved my money while other kids blew theirs. If you put in the effort to work, the money will find you:
-wash neighbors' cars for $5 each with dish soap (cheaper than car soap) -do odd jobs around the house for a few bucks per chore -the old summer standby: mow lawns! -yard work Notice how they all involve the words "work" or "job"? That's because you don't magically get money for nothing. Even if you get an allowance, it's because you make your bed in the morning and clean up when you're told to. If you sit in front of your house doing nothing, your long lost Great Aunt Tippy isn't going to show up and give you $300 for no reason, you work for it. That's how it is at a job: your work per hour is worth a certain dollar amount to your boss, and you get paid appropriately. Look at it this way too: if YOU earn the money by working for it, you not only might learn a new skill or an appreciation for the people that do it for a living, but you'll also enjoy what you buy more, because it was the first thing that YOU worked to get. It's like a carrot on a string while you're saving up the cash to get it, but in this case, the carrot is a BL system........and, most importantly, it's attainable. :) |
ture! but i dont wanan buy new cuz if i sell ti, ima take a HUGE loss. I saw a guy selling a NIB schulze 18.97 for 200 bux! Luckily reserve not met. I saw a Schulze u-force for 150 with NO BIDS. Thats the demand for brushless. STILL LOOKING. HELP ME OUT
I hear alot of people say bad things about schulze. If I didn't own one. I not sue if I would buy me one. I do agree with dabid. If you work for something you will appreciate it that much more. Can't no one say they gave it to you either. If you know the history on something is one thing. Like you and your buddy has something that you can swap out. I hope you get what you want though.
technically i do work for it, i look constantly for a good deal. I research this kinda stuff every day. oh yeah, i saw a hacker e-maxx system selll for 225 on ebay. Shows ya how much they depreciate in value. honestly, i like RC, but i like buying/selling them MORE. Im more of a buisness person. Rc is 2nd to makign some cash by buying used rc at a good price and selling it for a profit. I spent a total of about 500-600 bux (ALL MY MONEY) on RC so far. Right now, im flat broke, but i own 3 revos, a mamba rc18t, jr xs3 pro and 3 toolboxes of parts and stuff. That gives ya an idea of how i find good deals. ONe of the reasons is that i have to convince my parents its a good deal in teh first place, cuz they dont want me to waste my money.
From the looks of it, you're ebay savvy, so put a Revo up on there and get some cash.
easy rider
there are plenty of forums that I think are more up your alley, but I don't think this is the place to hustle people into trading something for your used revos. I would suggest selling them and talking to Mike about a brushless solution, there are plenty of 'more affordable' options and a revo is worth enough in good condition to leave you enough cash for a decent brushless set up.
Whatever you end up doing, good luck! |
With all the time you've been stalling in this forum I've raised $50 selling junk around the house, and an added $150 through my job. So, just do something, since whining about it really isn't a way to do anything. You could probably sell 2 of your revo's for $500, and convert the other one to electric with that.
