Neu's website is dowm, wheres my order!

Normally I wouldn't worry, but they're site has been down for along time now ad it's been over 2 weeks. What's the deal? 190 bucks is a lot ofmoney to not get my batts.

That's strange, it works now? Thanks for the number skellyo

It worked fine for me last week when I tried. You are making sure to put the www. in front of neumotors.com , correct? Without that, the page won't load.

Finnster 03.04.2008 08:38 AM

Their webpage sucks, it loads sooooo sloooowwww. So much for "made on a Mac" lol

Anyway, i ordered some batts from them recently. It was 2wks before i got an email saying they were shipped, then it was two days. Talking to them it sounds like unless its in stock they have to come from China. They are just taking over from DMA, so perhaps stock is low. Have you got a "shipped" email?

Made on a mac, hosted @ 14k4...

Thanks for the info guys. I haven't gotten a shipped email yet, but I'm sure it will come soon.

I have been on the site a few times within the last few days...beats the heck outta me on how you actually order a motor.

supralover72 03.04.2008 11:42 PM

you gotta go to their store area, search 5000 dimensions neu to find it.

Thanks. Still can't find it......oh well. I guess when I need a new Neu, I will just order from Mike. He dropped his prices to match theirs anyway.

Just called neu today since it's been 3 weeks, they said that they're out of stock because, as Finnster said and he was correct, they have to come from China. So much for matching the west .

Was that info straight from Neu himself or someone who works there?

What a pain in the rear. It would have been nice had they sent you an e-mail letting you know they were out of stock. That's not a real smart way to run a business these days. If it were me, I'd be looking to cancel the order and buy something different.

You know, a couple of weeks ago I emailed back and forth a few times with a girl named Amy at Neu about what was in stock. She told me the motor I was looking for was in stock and she told me to call her to order one. I called the number on the Neu website, Amy answered the phone and took my cc info and told me my order was in. This was all on a Wednesday afternoon. I received my motor on that Saturday afternoon via USPS. Basically less than 3 days.

Thanks Amy and Neu for the great service. After reading all the stories about people waiting forever to get their motor I was not expecting this at all. Maybe I just hit at the right time. Who knows? I'm just happy I did. :mdr::mdr::mdr:

I totally agree, that's why I marked it as disputed on the credit card bill as advised by my mom. I would order something else but it's already been three weeks, and there aren't really any other choices in terms of 25c for this price.

The info came from the women who answered the phone for neu, didn't get her name sorry.

skellyo 03.06.2008 09:41 PM

Are you going to be double stacking them? If so, the new Reedy 5000mAh packs or the CoreRC packs aren't much more $. If you aren't double stacking them, you can pick up Trakpowers from amain for ~$210/pr shipped (using coupon code and the Trakpowers are free shipping).

supralover72 03.07.2008 01:02 PM

Well I don't want to have to buy a v balancer and I highly doubt those Reedy packs are going to be 25c constant.

Thanks for the recommendations though.

Yes, I am double stacking them btw.

skellyo 03.07.2008 01:17 PM

What kind of balancer do you have? LBA10?

supralover72 03.07.2008 09:26 PM

yea, its thr built in one on the 0606's.
