Step-by-step building the X-Ray (E) 808 Buggy!..
Good evening gentlemen,
I just thought I would share with you my building experience associated with my 808. With that said I've been taking a few pics of my build along the way and thought I'd try my best to document it and share the experience / moments with you (MY FRIENDS!!)!. Please feel free to forwards all comment, or if you have any pointers that I've missed along the way that could also help our fellow family members in the future. Opening the box. (First impressions) Daaammmm… (I love the smell of new parts in the evening!).. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2819.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2820.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2821.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2822.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2823.jpg Here is what all of the parts look like all laid out. (This is going to require some thought!) I may have to actually read the instructions (NNnnnaaaa..).. I’ll just wing it for now.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2824.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2825.jpg Well lets get started shall we.. I think I will start with the Diffs and a screwdriver! (What??) For starters I'm using the following fluids for the diff’s (5000 in the front & centers and 3000 in the rear) I'm also using a mixture of 60% Kettle one with 40% orange juice for the screwdriver.. I'm also going to (lightly sand down the tops of the diffs to ensure that they won’t leak. (Lightly is the key word here gents), just enough to take the shine off them to ensure that there are no high spots. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2826.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2827.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2828.jpg |
Good news!.. These bad boys go together like the one’s I'm using on my GR3 & G3 / the ones Mike sells in his hybrid diff’s kits.. (no worries)..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2829.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2830.jpg Well here are the diffs all completed and turning smooth… time for a refill and the next step… http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2831.jpg Here is a part that I hate doing, but since I'm killing brain cells tonight I thought I might as well continue down that process. I’ve decided to seal all of the carbon fiber edges. (Good times) NOT!.. I'm just using my trusty cotton swabs, some CA glue and rubber gloves. I'm using the cotton swabs to ensure that I apply the correct amount and obtain the proper coverage throughout all of the edges.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2832.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2834.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2835.jpg |
Ok, all of the CF parts are done (nice and shinny!) OOooo shiny edges!!!, It’s time for another re-fill and lets move on to the…….. HUBS… sure why not!?. Well after a quick glance at the manual (yes I opened it!) I need to do the front transmission now!. Wow this detailed, better review the manual for a while to ensure proper installation techniques are used..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2836.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2837.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2838.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2839.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2840.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2841.jpg Ok were making some progress now!, let’s see next I’ll install the A-Arms for the rear suspension, better do another refill while I'm at it.. Here the setup in it laid out format.. (Rear) Oooo the rear sway bar is included so I guess this will be going on as well.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2842.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2843.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2844.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2845.jpg |
Ok the A-Arms are installed now lets move on the rear drive train and the wing mount.. Dang there are lot of parts in this bag and it’s getting late wish me luck.. better have one more re-fill for the road.
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2846.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2847.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2848.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2849.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2850.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2851.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2852.jpg Ok the rear suspension is complete.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2853.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2854.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2855.jpg I'm going to bed.. thanks for looking and please feel free to leave any and all comments that arise during your review.. Have a great one team.. Shaun. |
Looks like a fun build!
What motor/electronics setup you plan to run? It’s not going to see any stinky nitro is it? :gasp: |

I bought a losi 8 truggy from Amain.com tuesday (not here yet) it was that or the Xray xt8, wifey made the call 'cuz I was always saying I want an 8ight. Im always doing stuff a few days after you unplanned, classic (vtwin). What pinion are you going to use ? Looks like im going 60+ with the losi, 1515/1y & 5s unless I put a 2 tooth pinion on it. Something must be wrong. Look forward to see the rest !

I like your comment regarding you and me are always a few days apart on our builds, (Great minds think alike)… Your going to gear your bad boy for 60+?? That’s moving for a buggy!, our V-Twin now that’s one thing but a buggy, Best of luck to you!, I'm thinking of gearing mine for about 45, with the almost the identical components we’ll see, but then again you’re a better man than I.. Have a great one Sir and thanks for stopping buy.. be sure to post some pics of your bad Ass (8) when you get it!.. Shaun. |

Losi 8 is coming along slow (mainly because in in Australia) probably be around 3 - 4 weeks before I got it going |
Well after a nasty hangover and several aspirins latter it time to move onward and forward with the project. It time to start the front suspension, better crack open a bottle of wine it’s going to be a long night, tonight’s selections of brain altering substances will be played by a 2002 Chalone Vineyard Pinot Noir, with a 14.2% ahl content. Wine spectator rates this at 97 points. Well that’s enough of the culture hour, lets move on the build shall we..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2856.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2857.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2858.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2859.jpg Here is the front suspension laid out and OOOoo goodie I get to install the front sway bar.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2860.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2861.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2862.jpg |
Ok that was easy, now it time for the front drive train again lots of parts and yes I'm reviewing the manual for reference. (Lets see insert slot A into tab b, over the line C, GOT IT!)..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2863.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2864.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2865.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2866.jpg Ok, the glass is empty and the front suspension is all done, time for another re-fill and some more pictures.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2867.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2868.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2869.jpg Cool, the wine and I starting to kick some butt now, here are some shoots of the front and rear suspensions all completed, I was extremely impressed with the quality of everything so far, X-Ray molds and pieces are far superior to any other plastic parts I’ve have ever worked with to-date. Can wait to see how it looks when it’s all complete.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2870.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2871.jpg |
Ok, now were moving along now at a nice and steady pace.. Now the real fun gets to start, it looks like I can finally start messing with the chassis.. I’ll be installing the front & rear ends and the support bracket, better top off the glass for this one..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2872.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2873.jpg Ok the front and rear drive train is installed but something is wrong??. What is this “droop” thing??, I set my Digital caliper @ 4mm for the rear and 2mm for the front and it just looks / feels wrong!! Any thoughts / suggestions gentlemen??.. and yes NOTE the totally awesome (spare no expense) stand that I continue to use…. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2874.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2875.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2876.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2877.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2878.jpg |
Well with the initial drive train installed and the first bottle gone, it’s now time to start the installation of my steering and open another bottle, I’ll be finishing up the night with a Meridian Pinot Noir @ 13.8% and I’ve got Chuck Berry (Johnny be good) playing in the back ground.. Life is good..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2879.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2880.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2881.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2882.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2884.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2885.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2887.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2888.jpg Wow… That took forever to get it right!! You will want to measure the bolts for accuracy at this phase moving forward. Eyeing them just doesn’t work.. Trust me!!!… This is where we stand after 9hrs of forward progress. FYI… (I'm craving a breakfast burrito from Jack in the box) Dam there closed!!!! http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2890.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2889.jpg So here we are another 5hrs into the build and we’ve completed the following: • Front and rear drive train and suspension installation • Installation of the drive train on the chassis • Total hours spent to date = 9 hrs.. Well I've finished off two bottles of wine and it’s now 2:40 am my time (pst) so I’ve got to bed.. I'm pooped Stay toned for tomorrow update!! the installation of the center drive shaft and more!!!.. Thanks for viewing and have a great one!!! Shaun. P.S. Total build time is 9 hrs. to-date.. |
I have to say that the buggy looks really nice. I do not own any xray products, but they look extremely nice! I also had a chuckle at your "hangover and asprin" situation. I am a cognac drinker, and do not know if that would be a good idea when working on my r/cs! I prefer to have a few "ladies" around when I drink, just in case the "need" arises!
Your build looks great, and fun too! I am currently assembling a tamiya kit (tons of tiny nuts and screws) and having a blast. The build process is my favorite part. Not so fond of working out the kinks, but sometimes it has to be done! Have fun Shaun! |
your outer tie rods are on backwards. the rim will hit them like that.
|
thing looks like its coming along well shaun, cant wait to see it going! have a nice hangover! lol
|
Lookin' good! I too spent a long night last night assembling my new buggy... Total build time for mine (including today) was 7 1/2 hours. But of course I didn't get the awesome build pictures you have... Even if you won't be racing this buggy on Sunday, you should still bring it!
|
sorry to thread jack but METALMAN! i need to see pics of this buggy. im still debating if i should get one or not. (your talking about the sh z car right)
|
Its looking great so far TDC! Definitely looking forward to the next update. Can't wait to see it in action at the SoCal bash!!
|
Thanks guys..

Thanks for the kind words and the encouragement to press onward, cognac haa.. (classy!!) I cant even imagine attempting to do these builds with something that will kick you a$$ after two drinks and I loved your comment on the ladies around just incase the need arises.. I laughed out load.. I’ve been married for 18 years with two kids that need is long gone (the wife killed that years ago!).. can you say UNIC?? Haaa haaa.. But more power to you SIR.. Which Tamiya kit are currently working on??, got any pics of your progress??. The build! is what keeps me coming back “for sure” that is my favorite part out of everything!! Thanks again for your comments and encouragement!!! Have a great one Shaun. Quote:
It took me 4 times reviewing my truck but I final found that screw-up on my part.. Thanks soooo much the comment.. I really appreciate it!! This is my first buggy so I'm kind of learning as I go, I'm just glad this one was discovered now.. Did you see any other mistakes on my part?? If so please feel free to forward them along. Thanks again… Have a great one.. Shaun. Quote:
Have a great ONE… and thanks for stopping bye.. Shaun. Quote:
Good evening MetalMan… Thanks for the kind words, I checked out your build and was extremely impressed!!! (NICE!!).. I still am having “personal issues” that you can build it twice as fast as me (but then you’re a better Man than I am!!).. I'm looking for forward to next weekend at the track with you and others, I'm hoping to learn a thing or two!!.. Again thanks soo much for stopping bye.. Have a great one SIR…. And best of luck with Awesome build yourself.. (Not that you need it!).. Quote:
Hay Jnev… Thank you Sir.. I really looking forward to our planned excursion, have we nailed down the exact date yet??. Thanks again for stopping buy and leaving a positive comment!! Have a great one.. and a fabulous memorial day… Shaun. |
I've got questions for the team..
I’ve got some questions for the team / family (hope you don’t mind)??
1. What is Drooop?? And what setting do I / have you used with any success? 2. Isn’t there supposes to be some kind of dust boot covering up the ball joints?? They are totally exposed and I can see the front tires kicking up everything on my rears every time when driven?? What am I missing here?? 3. What is going to be braking on here, I hate beaning down (much like you) and feel the need to order extra parts, got any suggestions??. 4. Does anyone have a SETUP sheet they can send me?? This buggy has sooooo many different options I don’t even know where to begin other than what the instruction recommend.. 5. Not that she’s running yet, but how do I judge service on a buggy and to what length is involved??, a complete teardown or just regular maintenance??, what is regular maintenance on a buggy anyway?? 6. What is the recommended shock rebound setting for buggys?? The instructions give me three options (low, 50% and 100%) what are your thoughts / suggestions.. I'm SSSssoooo sorry for the newbie questions!! andThanks SOOOooo much for your time and have a great one!!! Shaun. |
Quote:
2) Which ball joints are you referring to? Typically 1/8 buggies/truggies don't use dust shields anywhere except on the shock shafts. I never really thought about it it, but I suppose it might be because these vehicles are able to withstand such punishment. (Are you comparing the dust shields on the Revo?) 3) Obviously I can't answer this question 100% accurately, but in general you might want to stock up on front and rear arms (upper and lower) and if there are plastic arm mounts (or hinge pin plates, or whatever you want to call them) those could also be good candidates. 4) Do the instructions have a reccommended setup? That's always a good place to start. Aside from that, I am of no help here. 5) Things that often wear out the fastest are hinged suspension components, such as the suspension arms, arm mounts, rear axle carriers, and front c-hubs (if the front suspension uses a c-hub). This will be different from buggy to buggy based on the design (for example, my new SH buggy uses rubber bushings between the hinge pins and the suspension arms to reduce wear). Shock seals also wear out, and you can buy shock rebuild kits which include o-rings, shock pistons, etc. I am not a big fan of doing maintenance on these buggies, so I just like to wait until I notice an unacceptable (by my standards) amount of slop in various parts to replace them. 6) I don't yet have enough racing experience to thoroughly answer this. That said, I tend to build my shocks with between 25-50% rebound, and make sure that all the shocks (or at least the fronts and the rears) rebound the same. Any more pics of your awesome buildup? |
Awesome.. Thanks soooo much for the advice…. I'm building my shocks now and had no idea where to start as for rebounding settings.
Thanks again for everything … Shaun. |
New Project.
Shaun as usual your builds are entertaining and educational. With the cost of the G3R I will pass on that one. This one looks to be something that I definitely want to do down the road after I get the 4 SuperMaxx trucks up and running the way that I want. The quality of the parts in this 808 kit look to be some of the best that I have seen. They did a great job making this one perfect. Your phase by phase nararation is very inspiring and informitive. I love reading your project along the way. You may want to take it a little bit easier on your liver and kidneys though. Death by booze is not a pretty site. Moderation is the key. Anyway thank you for your project sharing program. Keep up the good work on the build and the photo updates along the way. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Good morning team, today I decided to move the build inside so I could spend to time with the family, while kids were watching sponge bob, I was planning my next step, IE installing the center drive shaft. This ended up being relatively painless with the only modifications to date being the removal of the Nitro braking servo plate.
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2891.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2892.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2893.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2894.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2895.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2896.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2897.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2898.jpg |
With that installation completed it was time to install the side plates, hey it’s starting to look like a buggy at this point..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2899.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2900.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2901.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2902.jpg Now with the main chassis installed it was time to move on to the steering servo installation http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2903.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2905.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2907.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2909.jpg |
So with the basic chassis complete it was time move on to the construction of the shocks. I was extremely impressed with these / quality. I’ve had lots of experience dealing with the Traxxas big bore and the Integy MSR ones but these (but far) are superior, I can now understand why Neil installed them on his G3.0. again Neil is the man with the plan..
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2910.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2912.jpg Please note that these bad boys consist of no less than 22 components per shock! http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2914.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2917.jpg And they are HUGE!!! Here is the spring diameter http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2916.jpg Well with the internal parts installed and set at 50% rebound (per Metalman) AKA Travis, I used a cutting tool on a Dermal to cut a little groove in the centre of the adjusting nut. I did this after I had assembled the shocks and made sure it was screwed all the way on to the body. It just means you can easily make equal adjustments left and right. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2918.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2919.jpg Excellent, now that the shocks are built it’s time for the installation of these bad boys, witch in turns brings me one step closer to completion. I did find it weird that the front right and rear left required a special silver screw turned counter turned clockwise is required, but hay who am I to question the manufacture / direction requirements. Especially at this hour. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2920.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2921.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2922.jpg |
Ok I'm totally stocked at this point, now it’s time to install the rims and tires and the wing on this bad boy,
Yes I went the easy route and just purchased a set of buggy wheels with Bow-Tie installed on them already. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2923.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2924.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2926.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2927.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2928.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2929.jpg Wow my first impressions of this build once the basic build is complete is (wooow this thing cute!!) Ok Now that the basic buggy is complete minus the motor and ESC (something just doesn’t feel right??) sure it looks good but lets do some comparison with it competition, AKA the GR3 E-Revo.. Wooow the differences are huge!! I hate to admit it but my first impression is my E-Revo will dive over this buggy and wont even bother looking back, What am missing here??. It’s a 1/8 scale same as my GorillaMaxx but it’s shorter, lighter and just feels / looks like my Meu 1515 !.5 ys will rip a hole in it!?? there is no way in hell this thing will last / take the kind of punishment I thought / hoped it would.. Team, am I missing something here??? It’s is truly stronger and handles better than I can imagine?? As stocked as I'm with this build it just feels / looks fragile compared to my GR3 and my other builds.. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2930.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2931.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2932.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...7/IMG_2933.jpg Shaun. |
Convinced.
Well after reading and seeing your photos during this build I know I just have to have an 808. I need to branch out a bit anyway, and a buggy is a must at any track. This thing is so well made.:intello: Are there any after market hopups for this thing yet? Nice truck, nice build, nice photos, and nice job Shaun:yes:. I look forward to the completion and testing of your project, and for getting one of these for myself:party:. I guess this will be my Xmas wish from the wife this year. I can't wait to see how the BL gear gets mounted and how well it works in this vehicle. :gasp: Keep up the good work TDC:lol:.
|
I Don't own a buggy but they are known for there durability especially over monster trucks(and from what i hear xrays buggy's are one of the most durable). as for the shock i think it is because you are not use to the smaller type car yet. once you get it running and get a feel for it you might like it better. It is just a different kind of style that is all and it is mainly used for the track. hope i helped
|
Well, watching your build has convinced me that the 808 (or whatever the equivalent will be when I can afford it) will be my first buggy purchase.
Awesome build! High quality buggy! |
tdc.... my losi 8ight is rediculous when it comes to the track, it flies soooo loooong, even if i cartwheel out of it it just keeps on goin,. awesome investment, its so much smoother than my revo acually
|
Awesome build pics!! Love it. Great choice on the 808. I absolutely love mine. I had the EC and upgraded to the 808. Its amazing how much better the 808 handles. I cant even believe it.
With reference to your questions Ive got some recommendations based on what I have learned on my 808. See my notes in red. Quote:
|
The both of you are making me itch to get the 808 and dump the XB8EC. My wife will get a fit if she finds out... but I think I can blame it on the both of you ;)
|
Lincpimp
Nah just show her photos of lincpimps hobby room from the "show me your R/C shop", and blame it on him. Everyone blames these things on linc. Besides Xmas is not that far off. You can either get it for Christmas or request and early Xmas gift for emotional purposes.:intello: Check her closet and see what new shoes or purses she has gotten and you will have reasons to get something R/C to make up for that.

Just do me one favor. If your ladies would like to see me in person about anything I have done "wrong", just make sure they dress up and bring me some cognac (and maybe a female friend)! I am partial to Remy Martin Fine Champagne VSOP. |
Thanks Guys!!!

Thanks for stopping by.. and leaving your comments it’s always a pleasure to hear from you! (Your always so positive and upbeat!).. witch is probely hard now with your upcoming move the Korea.. Good morning Sir, (sorry about the Sir thing) it’s just me.. (deal with it).. Hhhaaaa haaa.. hhhhaaa.. I’ve had a blast building it and I'm really looking forward to putting it to the test of track abuse. It is a bit pricing though just over 600.00 for the roller, but I'm hoping it will be worth in the long run and I know you and you like things to be around.. The truck is made out of the most quality parts I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with and the build went together without any mods.. I'm currently waiting for the motor mount from Mike and a MGM I bought last week off of a another family forum member so with any luck I should have it up within the two weeks or so.. I’l be using an existing Neu 1515 1.5y on it and a single 5s lipos.. That’s combination should move it along nicely.. (I hope).. Thanks again for stopping buy and leaving your comments (positive as always..) Have a great one.. Shaun. Quote:
Good morning GorillaMaxx360, actually it did help.. (thanks) I’ve had the opportunity to get over it and I’ve received nothing but good things regarding the durability of these buggies. So I'm a much happy place at the moment.. Thanks the comments they are much appreciated.. Have a great one Shaun. Quote:
Hay Fkyx, It really is a great build and extremely high quality buggy in my opinion. This is my first buggy ever so coming from a MT background it was a little shocking to me, but throughout the day and ready other comments regarding buggy’s in general I still don’t in anyway regret this build.. Thanks for your comments and have a great one.. Shaun. Quote:

My wife saw my truck this weekend after it was started and she looks at me and say’s.. YOU bought another truck??? “What ever” and walked a way, (got to love that woman) After 18 years a marriage she finally knows when to shut up and walk away… my boy is excited too, he gets to beat on another one of dad’s toys.. Hopefully your wife is that understanding as well, the 808 is extremely well built and I’ve been informed it can take a beating.. We’ll see… Thanks for stopping bye and leaving your comments.. Have a great one.. Shaun. Quote:
