F/S all my brushless stuff

Tired of electric, go-back nitro, all my friends at the track run nitro.

Neu 1515 2.5d/f, order it from A Main, not arrive yet, it's ship since yesterday, and will arrived in the end of next week, so it's brand new:intello:

Flightpower EVO25, 5000mAh, 4s, 3 run on it too.
CCBEC
RCM battery tray
RCM mugen motor mount and RC8 motor mount
Associated RC8, 2 run on it, in brushless.

Great deal on the li-po pack and controller if buy toghether.

Sorry to hear you are getting out. Good luck to you with the nitro's!

david lamontagn 06.19.2008 10:48 PM

We don't have any electricity at the track, so i can't recharge my pack, and all my friends run nitro.
So if i sell my stuff, i'll buy the new OS .28XZ and drop it in my Mugen MBX5T:eyes:

mkrusedc 06.19.2008 10:51 PM

David good luck. I appreciate all the advice.

if not having electricity is the driving force you can get a power inverter for your car that you can run off of your ciggerette lighter and you could run a PS/charger...I remember seeing one @ Costco recently

david lamontagn 06.20.2008 07:33 PM

Pull 5amps each time i'll recharge the baterie:gasp:
Don't know if my car will start at the end of the day.

No need an inverter, my charger is 12vdc.
but i can't go near the track with the car:neutral:

magman 06.20.2008 07:40 PM

:lol:Sorry to here that you are leaving brushless...best of luck w/ the nitros

and if you have lots of time.....

You know the only thing i don't like with brushless??? It's wait for the batterie to be charge. With nitro, you run them, when it's empty, you fill them and you re-start it.
Same power from the begining of the tank thrue the end of the tank.

That's what i like with nitro:wink:

I know what you mean... that's why some of us have tonnes of batteries... :) atleast you're still in the hobby.. that's a good thing... :intello: but you're still going to need a charger to charge your reciever packs...:mdr:

david lamontagn 06.20.2008 08:23 PM

I've one, Hyperion 0610 DUO:intello:

a small generator will cost less at the end of a year vs running nitro.. that or just charge off your cars battery depending on how the tent area is setup.

bad excuses :) actually a few extra lipo packs will cost less too over a years time, then even less to worry about !

david lamontagn 06.21.2008 10:03 AM

UPDATE

the RC8 with motor mount is trade
the li-po FP 5000mAh is sold
the batterie tray is sold

So for the rest, i'll keep the controller and the Neu 1515 2.5d, because i'll have a new truggy who'll be nitro and i'll keep my mugen trugy to leave it brushless:yipi:

The best of both world:wink:

I dunno about that man, I hated nitro because everytime you filled up it ran like crap for 2-3 laps, lean bog ? then great, then crap towards the end of the tank. and it was just too loud and stinky. I thought id still like to play with nitro now and again for old time sake, proved myself wrong and reminded me why I hate it lol Ill pop in a fresh set of lipos and keep my hands clean !

I can relate to your post...I was laughling all the way through it...I do like the sound of a nitro though...maybe CC can program a controller that would have some tiny speakers and give us that wonderful noise......:sarcastic:, there are some times that I link to fiddle with things those are the times I break out my old .15 Tmaxx .....talk about high maintenance...Paris Hilton has nothing on it...

Wonder what the opposite to that sounds like? http://www.unbelievablerc.com/detail.php?pid=10
And I wonder what this works like http://www.unbelievablerc.com/detail.php?pid=4 They also have some muffler bearings for $12.95 (no picture of course), so they sound a little hard to believe, maybe that's how they get their name
