nice vid....but i was expecting to see some few speed passes. thats some power you got there.
what xl is that artick? i have a 7xl but im not sure if i can do that. but ive also never tried either. hahah. how many cells u running? |
That was only a 9XL on 4s...
|
maybe thats why. 9xl has more torque than the 7xl. but im not sure by even that much. im prolly sure mine can do it, but just too afraid it might tear something up.
|
thank guys, no reason for speed runs, it was geared for under 40mph.
|
Cool display of power for sure but I think it time for a new video camera.

This could make a good sport- see how far you can travel whilst performing a back flip...
|
cool vid man. I just tested my new treads out in my living room and did that with my savage. granted it was not on purpose but still cool.
|
when I saw the title of the vid I was expecting to hear some Pantera and was surprised to hear some mandatory Metallica........
|
That was awesome!
You really need a new vid cam though LOL! |

what parts of the diffs get ruined by this anyways? i thought it would be the drivetrain axles that would be the issues.

The stock revo diffs use m2.5 screws and plastic cups with plastic cases, allows for too much flex when alot of torque is applied. |
Wow thats alot of power! Great video.

ouu ok got you. yea i already chipped a few teeth on my ring gear. i noticed that when i switched over to 85k diff oil. i was wondering how that happened. so its from too much power. i better take it easy of my wot from stand still then. and yes i did replace the ring gear...although i think i may have chipped one tooth on the new one. im hearing the same clicking sound i heard before when the other ring gear chipped. and i dont even wot. maybe i need to shim...? cus its only the outter edge of the teeth that got chipped off. so maybe i need to shim them closer huh?
