Post pics of the full scale ride you would love to have

So I was reading through the post pics of your full size rides thread and was thinking how boring my real car is. My real car is a 2002 Honda Civic 4 door hatch. It's an awesome little car but nothing that exciting. I thought why not post the car I would love to have, instead of destroying the other thread I thought it best to start a new one.

So post pics of the car you would love to have. I want to see unique cars things not every one would have seen before. They don't even have to be production cars, maybe some one off that someone has come up with in there back yard or like mine a concept.

Anyway here is mine. I love the look and idea of this car. Sadly the biggest mistake Toyota has ever made was not putting it into production. They even put it in video games and made die casts of it but where is the car .

I'd probably have to get 2. One to turn into a fire breathing rally car and the other that would get treated a bit nicer. Other then this I would love to build a Shelby AC Cobra replica.

My current car is a 05 Mazda3 hatchback - lava orange. I love my car for what it is, but would really like a BMW M3 or an older style viper (pre vette look-alike).

Yeah I love the 1996 (was that the last year they made them) style viper. The one with the two big humps in the roof.

sexy

Yup, but I'd want the one with the exhaust on the sides, despite people reporting burning their legs (I wonder if they tried to sue Dodge for not having a "caution: hot" sticker") That one has the exhaust in the middle rear.

All the pics I see of that car make it look fairly long, but it's not much longer than my little Mazda3. Must be the height/width/length proportion perpective. :oh:

Like this bad boy. This is the other car I would love to have and yes you would have to be really careful getting out.

I am assuming that we are sticking to street cars, and at least thats what it looks like so... since I love Saabs, here is a car I'd like to have:
http://www.autoblog.com/media/2006/0..._-099-copy.jpg
I saw this car in real life as well at the auto show.

Or if we're talking older street cars, this one:

Anything, well I suppose I was thinking some thing that might possibly be street legal. Offroaders are welcome

Post what these cars are as well cause some of them I do not know and why you want them. So far the main reason I like the cars that I have posted is all looks. Performance and handling can always be improved by throwing money at it, just like rc really.

Fun cars, I painted 4 of the factory five replicas one year, and spent a few hours driving one. Drives like a go cart, it had 250 hp or so, but only weighs 2500lbs. Very fun car, and I never burned my leg...

This would be my next choice if I was looking for a new ride...Gangsta Ride!!!

bensf 08.21.2008 11:42 PM

Urgh. I can't think of the name right now, but its that off-road truck/suv thing that does 0-60 in like 5 secs. It was on a few episodes of top gear.

brushlessboy16 08.21.2008 11:47 PM

Id have a Dark grey 1993 mustang, my dads 460 bbF, thats been bored .030 over, .494 cam, Aluminum SCJ heads, 1050cfm Dominator carb, Powerglide trans. through a ford 9'' rear and some 10.5 slicks

DRIFT_BUGGY 08.22.2008 12:36 AM

Not a huge Subaru fan but 22B would be my ultimate car

The first car I posted was a Saab Aero X, and the 2nd was a Saab 9000 Aero. The Aero X just looks awesome and is faster than anything around. The Saab 9000 Aero is the most practical hatchback car you will ever find... it can fit mroe inside than just about any car on the road. Not only that, but it will rape any car on the road going from about 60mph to 120mph. I am not a big fan of the newer Saabs. My favorites were the 9000 from about 95 to 97 and the 900/9-3 until 2002.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo...? 500HP, 516lb-ft, 0 - 60 in 4.9 seconds... is that it?

Here is a video I made of my brother's FFR Cobra:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QQi0ZOkPkzw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QQi0ZOkPkzw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It was killer fun to drive. Just like a go-cart, like Linc said. Very cool.

I personally am madly in-love with the M5.

And incase anyone was wondering, it goes 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Faster (but not much) than the the Cayenne.

The Veyron would be around the top of my list for sure.

The trouble with some of the "supercar" rides is the maintenance. Cars like McLaren, Veyron, Enzo, etc cost as much for routine maintenance as a normal sporty cars purchase price.

That's kinda' why I like the NSX. It uses a lot of normal Honda parts in it. Certainly not all, but I understand the maintenance is much cheaper than a typical "supercar". (Some people probably wouldn't consider it a supercar, but it's better than average I think.)

frontier x-5, I test drove one and it was awesome, impractical for daily use, darn it all!

That is why the Audi R8 is great - the every day supercar...

Ok, this is an awesome thread. Although for a person like me it can be very frustrating. Just too many cars to choose from, you know? So rather than just post one selection, I have a few. I figure if I had the money to seriously consider this question I could build a sweet garage for all of these

First would be a possible daily driver . . . the MTM R8:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...Cars/MTMR8.jpg

And the "green" daily driver selection . . . the Fisker Hybrid Concept:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...ridConcept.jpg

And how could I leave out this gorgeous Gran Turismo S:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z.../Cars/GT03.jpg

A great "all around" car to put my truggy in the back . . .
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z.../Alpina-B5.jpg

And for some old classics I would go with these vintage Ferraris:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...0gteuropa1.jpg
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...1960250SWB.jpg
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...0_GT_Lusso.jpg

Ok, I have to stop or I'll totally take this thread over . . . if I haven't already
