Gott screwed on the 9920....
I got screwed. the motor wasnt a feigao or a nemsis. it was a Cordite! Never even heard of it. Futhermore, the idiot SOLDERED the wires from the motor, to the connecters on the controller... The controller's shirnkwrap shows holes in it, that i've seen on batteries when they are overheated.
What? So your saying the guy that sold you your 1 way to shut up scammed you? :p Can you get some pics?
Umm, hard-wiring the ESC to the motor is the approved method, dude. And holes in the shrink are a common sight, too.

That is a 9920.
The motor just looks like a rebadged Feiago, most of them are. |

Your really over reacting over this. |
OH! so u telling me fine design jsut repainted it and stamped this sticker on it?
No, it is most likely another company, that takes the same motor design.
Like Mtronics brushless motors are Feiagos. It happens, I'm sure they performe exactly the same. I can't belive you didn't ask for pictures of it before you bought it! |
i did ask for pictures! the guy covered teh sticker with teh rc-monster heatsink. The conector/solder was covered with electrical tape.
so just put new plugs on if you want,or solder wire to wire. What's the big deal?
Maybe he bought it with the male plugs on from someone else or maybe he just didn't have any female plugs at the time. The warrior doesn't come with plugs on though, well mine didn't.I don't think he was trying to scam you. |
i know, oh yeah, how do i remove the red piece to program? I tried to with pliers, and i chipped it. Do i take the whole red pice, or just that copper piece? I dont wanna pull it to hard.... Tried to do with finger but its too deep.
Nbcazn, normally people just cut back the heat shrink a bit to get to the jumper, then it pulls out very easily with your fingers.

did he set up the battery connectors right? I plugged the batts in and nothing happened. waited for 30 seconds and no beep.
Yes,that looks right.
you have the bec jumper in right cause if its not programed and the bec jumper is removed it wont do anything
Do you have your transmitter on and did you read the sticky?
it doesn't beep with the programmer button on..
Here, do you reading; http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/atta...=&postid=21655 ncabz, with all respect; You are begging for a controller for so long, and every single person on this forum told you not to buy it second hand, or pay very close attention to the seller.. just to invest a few bucks more (i know it is hard cash, but if you did your saving and showed some patience, you could have had a new set from Mike) You are a person who needs to learn the hard way. I do feel sorry for you though, i wished i could help you out with this, but it's just something i wanted to share with you. PLease keep your peace, i know you don't want to hear the 'we told you so' part, we are also willing to help you out.. PLease keep your peace.. |
i got it runnign! works great. though the motor was dissapoiintment. How do u know if u have a ubec? Is it a square thing on teh wires? I dont think i got one. Should i buy one or stick with receier packs?
Quote:
UBECs are external devices. You would notice it if you had one, as they are white and about 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches or so. You can buy one, or use a RX pack. It's your choice. |
You would know if you had a ubec if you'd bought one and had a big white thing soldered to your battery wires.;)
You need to remove the black jumper(behind the red one and in a bit) if you want to use a reciever pack or ubec (the big white thing with Koolflight UBEC written on it)otherwise you'll be using the controllers BEC.Please don't use an external bec or reciever pack without removing the black jumper or this damn saga is never going to end.:L: Read the ####ing sticky! for God's sake. I can't believe you spent all that time finding a used system without giving a moments thought to the conversion or anything else. You could have had it all ready, including how to program the controller. |
i did read teh sticky! it works fine now! well, everythign is ready except tthem aluminum parts. Dad aint helping much so getting aluminum parts is hard since i aint got no car.
I don't either ;). That's what the internet is for :).
I got a metre of 1/4" angle HE30 delivered this morning. That should keep me in motor mounts for a while.Got lots of 7075 too.
Hey yall, I got my hybrids and arms and towers in today. That should keep me busy for a little while. I have some pictures of my E-MAXX while it is still stock and I want to post them but I dont know how. Can someone help me out?
Thanks:) |
Yeah,in the post/reply page, near the bottom it says attach file, click 'browse' and chose the file you want to attach from your computer and it'll attach it to your post.
I am trying it now.Thanks. IT says my picture is to big and gess what, I don't know how to do that eather. :C:
I don't either so i take pics with the e-mail file size on my camera and they fit nicely into posts.Just retake them in a smaller file size on your camera if you can.
I assume you have windows and MSoffice.GO into my pictures. Open the pic you want to resize in office picture manager. In the toolbar look for edit pictures click resize. CLick predefined . 640 x480 is web large. CLick okay . save as new pic change the name by adding web so you no what it is. NOw try uploading as described before.
If no MS office. try what ever picture manager you do have. should be pretyy close. |
:L: I can't help but to laught at you azn dude. Metal man is right. That is a nemisis. Mine had the same stickers until they got to me. I give you 50 buck for it the system. :D I glad you got it working though. Please don't burn it up.
