My E-Maxx
I have A E-Maxx just converted the e maxx to the HV MAXX brushless system and upgraded it with
DuraTrax Aluminum front and rear and Center skidplate DuraTrax Aluminum Servo Guard Integy Alloy Front and rear Gear Box Integy Alloy Front Bulkhead Integy Alloy Rear Bulkhead Integy MSR4 Shock Set w/Piggyback Integy Aluminum Front Bumper Integy Alloy Suspension Set low-resistance Deans Racing Plugs New Era Models Full Roll Cages Trinity Wheelie Bar and put the huge 8 inches swamp kong tires on it, well needless to say I got to play with it for about 5 min. when it ripped the diffs apart. what do i need to make this work |
Sounds pretty nice there 2 FAST 4 U. Got any pics?
Oh yah, welcome to this forum. |
Welcome to the forums :)
I would sugest getting better diffs. maybe supermaxx diffs if money is not a problem, or give the flm aluminum diff case a try. Both of those products are on this site. Good luck |
welcom to the forum. IF you going to keep running the big of tire. I think you need the ue rears. It would raise your final drive ratio to to help out with the big tires.
|
i would say flm bulkless with 1/8th scale gears.

Did you see the g-maxx collection and the pure CNC work of FLM? (i am simple no fan of molded stuff..)

I bet the tires and wheels outweigh the whole truck.
Welcome. looks like you'll fit in well |
You definately need some serious diffs and some low gearing! Welcome to these forums, 2fast. Nice beast of a truck! I bet you could drive across a lake with that thing(though I wouldn't recommend it!) :)
|
Welcome, I agree with squeeforever not only are they bullet proof , the price and guarantee are real nice. Beautiful TRUCK?
Try the 40 series. Hey Mike did you get my e-mail?? |

Hey a set of them huge jumbo kongs would look killer on my mgt. I think it would be awesome. It looks very low to the ground with the little tires.
|
Jumbo Kongs are garbage, all they do is stress out your truck's steering and driveline, and the rubber compound sucks. Granted, that's the crawler in me talking, but I still think they're stupid.
|
Has anyone seen the fireball tires? They are like 7'' tall 3 1/2' wide and they look real cool.

My E-Maxx
I drove My E-Maxx at 40 mph In 1st gear with The jumbo kongs tires On It
|
How did you controll it? Look like it would drift bad?

Do you have the single speed conversion? |

I am not sure I would want to go 40 mph on jumbo kongs. The tire roll would be bad. Did you guess the speed or have it clocked? The human eye can be deceiving. |
40mph in first on a hv-maxx?!?! I think you need to gear down a bit.... on the jumbo kongs that is.....
