A 6800? or 2 of them?

Need more pics, with less clothes on....

Rcbros 12.01.2005 04:24 PM

I'm honestly not sure which motor just know its on the way lol. Just going single (for now) trany components and diffs need some upgrading first. But so far no hop-ups are available.

VERY NICE! i like teh dual steering servo idea, though a regualr fullsized servo would have been cheaper and just as good.

Sylvester 12.01.2005 05:22 PM

That is one sick ride, that mustve been fun, bashing in your house:)what batteries does that take? and how many?

coolhandcountry 12.01.2005 06:22 PM

after watching the video it makes me want to get me one of them there rides. That is right tight. Bashing in the house to. sweet :D Like totally awesome dude.

Rcbros 12.01.2005 07:11 PM

Just takes alittle 6 cell pack http://www.rcbros.com/uploads/images/RcBro/rc_073.jpg

Going to try to mod the mini-t 7 cells in it when my brother brings them over :p

Yes its great to bash in the house lol. I made some more jumps after that. Even took the time to tape them :D

Very fun to play with!

crazyjr 12.01.2005 07:16 PM

Looks addicting

Re~Mix 12.01.2005 07:47 PM

Man that thing deserves a 540 motor, battery and servo.

nbcaznmaster 12.01.2005 10:38 PM

a 540 brushless, with lipos!

E-Traxxer 12.01.2005 10:45 PM

Nice truck, it will rip on BL power!

How about dual 3080's with 12s lipo in that thing? Just kidding :L:

If only team losi would do this to the full size LST, the regular LST is expensive, and for the same price I'm sure it could come RTR with a mild BL system...

Re~Mix 12.02.2005 12:12 AM

I'd do the 540 brushless, if only they had a 1/10th servo setup. It has the diffs to handle the power unlike most mini's.

Rcbros 12.02.2005 12:21 AM

540 might happen. Thats after I try the mamba out and some better gears come out for this litte guy.

CrazyPhantom 12.02.2005 01:00 AM

Do they have aluminum a-arms and stuff avaliable? becasue maybe I could get some machined and sell them if you would be intrested

Serum 12.02.2005 02:16 AM

not yet phantom.

gixxer 12.02.2005 05:32 AM

I have one on the way, should have it monday. My local track is racing them stock but I do have a mamba that will get thrown in there just to see how it works even if only for a few runs.

Hook RCBros up!! So far nothing!! Can you make gears by any chance too?

JOHNNYMAXXIMA 12.03.2005 04:31 AM

Drove one around at my lhs tonight. I'm sure the battery was on it's way down but it was still a very cool little truck. I think this will be my next dual BL project.

Thunderbruiser 12.05.2005 05:03 AM

very nice truck i'd prolly put a single brushed or low powered 540 size bl in her just for kicks

nbcaznmaster 12.05.2005 07:42 AM

ss58000 or 4800

gixxer 12.05.2005 08:31 PM

just got mine today. only got to run it a little after setting it up (switching to deans, charging lipo and changing controller) before going to work. so far it seems to handle pretty good but is a little top heave (wants to roll on carpet. It is a decent speed out of the box and has great steering with the dual servo's. the real test will be the weekend when i get to try it on the indoor dirt track.

Rcbros 12.06.2005 02:09 AM

mine hasn't seemed top heavy yet. Even with my carpet driving!

I took this little toy on the street this weekened and in stock form it really goes!! I was shocked at the speed. Averages about 17mph stock!

I believe my mamba arrived yesterday but forgot to pick it up. hopefully this weekened I'll have some free time to convery most of my stuff to deans and install the mamba.

just wish some aftermarket gears would come out for this thing!

gixxer 12.06.2005 04:42 AM

I have a mamba 6800 that I plan on putting in just to test out. I really want to just rip out the stock speed controller and motors but my local track is racing them stock, so they will have to stay for awhile. Also since I am already running lipos and the stock esc doesnt have a voltage cutoff, just gives me another reason to want to switch.

nbcaznmaster 12.06.2005 07:33 AM

if u have the ss5800, i s it okay to run like 4 cells? Cuz if u gunna mod a lst to run 540 motors, u dont need to many cells for a good amoutn of power.

CrazyPhantom 12.06.2005 01:14 PM

Do any of you guys hae like extra a-arms, and shock towers and stuff I could borrow? I need it to base the dimensions off for custom aluminum parts I will be selling.

Please let me know.

Rcbros 12.06.2005 07:13 PM

If I did I could send them but honestly I don't have one thing. Thats why I've been just driving around the living room and not testing my limits.

gixxer 12.06.2005 07:49 PM

sorry no extra parts.

CrazyPhantom 12.06.2005 11:01 PM

Ok, I will try to find some cheap extra parts on like ebay or something. Would you guys be intrested in some hop ups for it? I would be charging very cheap to start off just to get my company name out more. So let me know.

Let me know,
Joe

CrazyPhantom 12.07.2005 12:03 AM

would you guys liek a price of about 65$ shipped for all aluminum a-arms? (set of 8) Please let me know.

Serum 12.07.2005 03:03 AM

If you make them from 7075 i'm sure you've got some buyers on your hand..

CrazyPhantom 12.07.2005 06:10 PM

Let me know if you would be intrested in 65$ for 8 a-arms. I ordered some a-arms to design off of. I'mg going ot design them to be strong, yet very light

CrazyPhantom 12.07.2005 10:32 PM

Also, I am now selling 4 extended axles that with 4 aluminum machined hexes, pins, and 3mm nylon lock nuts .This kit will allow you to run 2.2 wheels. I am selling for 33$ shipped to begin and will prolly lower the prices as more people are requesting them. I also am selling a brushless motor block off plate. It would allow you to run 1 bl motor on either side of the gear. I will have pictures hopefully tomarro. The motor block off plate will be 9$ shipped.

Please let me know if either of you are intrested. I am trying to get the a-arms ready to be machined later this week, or early next week, and try to get some orders out late next week, or in 2 weeks.

Let me know if you guys are intrested

Thanks,
JOe
