hosoi was the shit, im pretty sure he got out of jail a little while back maybe a year now? i still ride his red and white kamakazi board 9x32.5 (huge board) on 65mm softies on bones ceramics. I havent skated a ton of vert mostly bowls since thats all we have around here, here is me doing a BIG bowl to bowl tranfer in dallas 9 foot deep to 6 foot deep across a full width deck (4'), highlight of that trip a couple years ago. I also broke my left shouder the next day doing a backside disaster on the 11' over vert (have it on video and was trying to throw it in at the end of a long line and bit it hard.:lol: I try not to get carried away anymore :oops: ive broke my tail bone 3 times and if i break it agian they said they were gonna remove it and fix it :gasp: so thats not good, right now it looks like a fish hook.:tongue: youll meet some of the most interesting people when you skate bowls and vert :whistle:

Why was he in prison in the first place?

Trying to smuggle 1 1/2 pounds of meth thru the airport . He was hooked on the stuff . He was promiseed a portion of the stuff for his efforts .

every one makes mistakes, he got in deep with the wrong crowd, but he is a stand up guy, and he still airs it out! have you seen his pics since he has been out? it made me curious so i went digging through some of my mags and found some new pics of him in late 07, still rocking that style.

Thats one HELL of a drop in ramp!

For me, dropping in 15ft bowls its nuts, thats as far as I go LOL. Danny way is nuts, id def have to change my underwear after that one!

Skating got old for me though, my buddy moved. So I got into biking lol. Right now im riding a free agent
