Video of my 7XL/9920, 14cells

Make sure your Quicktime is upto date or it won't play:
CLICKY HERE!

Well I tell you, those Gorilla straps are pants, 2nd pair I've gone through, just don't hold anything in. :L:

Goes well on 14cells, thinking of bumping up too 16 when those new 4200mAh cells come out! Although wanting a new chassis first, to lay 8 flat.

Thanks all.

Serum 12.07.2005 12:20 PM

downloading now Nick..

I hate quicktime for windows.. It's like freaking virus that can't be stopped..

Serum 12.07.2005 12:45 PM

Nice heatshrink and driving skills Nick.. LOL...

I think you need to know something.. 16 cell beasts are even harder to drive.. somehow the gravity towards curves is even bigger..

Jasper 12.07.2005 12:52 PM

Nice maxx Nick! Same setup as mine!

I think it is better that you are running on a parking lot or a big surface without curbstones ;)

supermaxx 12.07.2005 12:53 PM

quicktime is better!

Yes, you were losing control for the turn, you had to have more space but it wasn't there so boom...

Nick 12.07.2005 01:02 PM

I'm not used to turning, lol, it was wet too. I could blabber on but yeh, 16 I can handle. ;)

mack 12.07.2005 01:09 PM

Nice video good qaulity.
Shame on those curbstones they are alwas in the way LOL

squeeforever 12.07.2005 02:10 PM

what new 4200mah cells coming out?

Nick 12.07.2005 03:28 PM

Intellect are going to bring out 4200mAh cells, same dimensions as their 3800s. :)

LRP are already matching and shipping them, it's the cheap loose cells I'm waiting for. :D

Serum 12.07.2005 03:51 PM

4200mAh..

who knew..

Sounds promising!

Dafni 12.07.2005 03:54 PM

Interesting info. 4200 is a nice step up.

mack 12.07.2005 04:00 PM

Yo give the link of that 4200mAH;)

We are all very interested, better run time is always good news.

joostin420 12.07.2005 04:04 PM

If you read the first post you can see that you have to update your quicktime;)

Serum 12.07.2005 04:10 PM

Download the newest quicktime. The kazaa lite codec pack didn't worked either.

mack 12.07.2005 04:12 PM

Hee serum I beat you on this one LOL:L: ;)

joostin420 12.07.2005 04:13 PM

This high-level competition cell delivers a giant capacity of 4200mAh combined with an again increased voltage and power output!
Made by Intellect but LRP are doing all the wizzy stuff, won't be long until they are released individually.

Same size as the 3800 cells. :)

mack 12.07.2005 08:06 PM

Thanks for the link.
I will wait to order my cells until my savage is completly rebuild into a E-savage.

Maybe then Intellect or GP has got them as wel.

Dagger Thrasher 12.07.2005 08:14 PM

I gotta get me some of those cells! They'll be going in Cold Fusion for sure. I'm just downloading the vid as I type. :)

Edit: I only get sound too, and apparnelty I have the latest update of quicktime...:W:

nbcaznmaster 12.07.2005 09:29 PM

grr! i just got some matched gp3700 and then these new cells come out! cant image how long the run times will be! Who needs lipos now at this rate!

Scott711 12.07.2005 09:38 PM

Great vid and nice truck. I ripped my G-Maxx straps too, although my batts did not come flying out. That's a bummer. I then decided to get some industrial strenth velcro and have not had any problems. I'm not remebering where I got but it is allot thicker than the G-Maxx stuff. I glued velcro to the bottem of my batts and the chassi (I'm using a Torpedo chassi) and strap them in over the top with the heavy duty velcro and they never slip or move at all. Keep up the great vids.

Basketti 12.08.2005 03:18 AM

I never heard about those cells coming out :(, i just ordered 32 ib3800 cells.

Dagger Thrasher 12.08.2005 04:47 AM

Well I downloaded Quicktime 7 (thanks mack) and hey presto, it works. Great vid Nick! Your maxx took a pretty painful tumble there with minimal damage, that's a testament to those RPM arms. GorillaMaxx need to SERIOUSLY do something about their straps though, lol!

Serum 12.08.2005 11:49 AM

gmaxx has got the cf straps.. perhaps they are tougher.

coolhandcountry 12.08.2005 07:26 PM

I take it you like the power of the 7xl there. Mike has some new gmaxx straps that supposed to be stronger than the ones you broke. I have had the same problems with mine. I got me some of the new straps coming. Maybe something to check into. You was doing good until the curb jumped in front you. :D
