RC Pro and Caster Racing USA have temporarily joined forces to help kick off the new 1/8 electric 2009 season with a bang!
Since Caster is currently the only true electric buggy and truggy manufacturer on the market, yet are unrecognized, they offered to do a great promo that will help RC Pro and YOU!" Caster Racing has announced that they created a promo sku for their cart that will take the Fusion race roller all the way down to $250. This is a $100 savings!! What a great way to enter the 1/8 scale electric races. This is an assembled buggy just add radio gear, speed control, motor, servo and batteries! This gives you the freedom to choose the electronics YOU want! OR for those who want to step up to the Pro Fusion instead of the Race Roller the code will give you a $50 discount off the Pro. Now you are probably asking yourself how this benefits RC Pro. RC Pro has decided that with proof of purchase, a person can receive a free RC Pro membership. That is right. On top of getting the fusion discounted, with proof of entry, Caster Racing will pay your RC Pro membership or membership renewal at your 1st event of 2009 ( a $20 value) as long as the buggy was purchased through Caster Racing USA. To take advantage of this special send an email to the following and receive a code for ordering either the Race Roller or Pro on the Caster USA website. specials@rcprosites.com Please specify which product you are interested in. |

I'd like to know how the front to rear balance is on those. The batteries look awful far back to me.
the balance is really even surprisingly i was expecting it to be back heavy but its really even once you get the motor up front and the steering servo and whatever else you have mounted
The balance is very good the car has tons of steering and the rear end stays planted.
Aren't they coming out with the truggy version too? Any news on that?

Now there's a clean truggy. I can't wait for it to come out. I've had my eye on that for a while...
The Truggy is now in stock at www.casterracingusa.com

I am getting mine ready to go. Wanted to run 1700kv Tekin truggy system but budget wouldn't allow that. Now got a used MMM v3 and a 1900kv KD36 (waiting on RCM heatsink/clamps to get back in stock). Also building the RCM slipperential to put into it.

There's a build thread on the Caster USA forums about the F18's. I think the Pro version had some part fitment issues and a few other problems when it was released. Might want to find out if those have been resolved in the kits they are shipping now, unless you are going with the RTR model which should be fine. |
i am thinking of the rtr. then upgrading it a little, it seems like it wouldnt be to much to make it a pro. plus you get all the electronics, shoot just coming with the esc/motor/servo will be the money i can put into the chassis/ towers.
Ooo, you want to get this mini :)
yup!
