Cheap Feigao motor?

hi found this on ebay, Im pretty sure its a XL feigao motor and its real cheap! dont know how much turn it is? anyone think its worth getting? Links not working so heres the item number.

Item number: 6022830385

its only $35US :)

Basketti 12.21.2005 06:46 AM

Anyone know anything about this motor? I looked on the site but cant find anything? Just the pic and the name lol

http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/pd...415-51426.html

Dafni 12.21.2005 08:39 AM

Re-buildable structure sounds good. But can't really say more without further info.

On the ebay site, it looks like some kind of XXL...

SpEEdyBL 12.21.2005 03:51 PM

Those are the same as the regular feigao motors, but with a heatsink and rebuildable. A different style than the c-series b-class motors. I wish they specified the turn on the ebay auction.

Basketti 12.21.2005 08:15 PM

what about the one in my first post on ebay? Item number: 6022830385 its like the same as the feigao xl motors i think?

mmdooley 12.21.2005 09:19 PM

Looks like something that needs to be checked out. I found this http://www.starluckrc.com/feigao540.html mabe it will help.I cant understand it??

boss 302 12.21.2005 09:44 PM

it looks like a spec sheet for the feigao motors but im not sure
andy

captain harlock 12.21.2005 09:47 PM

Ah, this is a list of data about the specifications of the motors made by feigao like the no. of turns, kv, size,etc...

boss 302 12.21.2005 09:50 PM

thats what i thought but i wasnt sure i am new at this and trying to learn as much as i can thanks for the clarification captain
andy

captain harlock 12.21.2005 09:52 PM

Not long ago, I was worse than you, Boss, when it comes to such things.

Basketti 12.21.2005 10:12 PM

I saw that spec sheet, i was trying to use it to identify the motor cause the auction says the motor has a kv rating of 490kv-3330Kv, but im not good with all that stuff, i dont know that much about brushless lol. its only $35 i might aswell just buy it and try it out?

mmdooley 12.21.2005 10:21 PM

That's what I did, I could not match the specs. with the motor. But he is selling S's L's XL's and the rebuildable heet sink type (black)

Batfish 12.21.2005 10:30 PM

Looking at the shipping and comparing prices elsewhere, it's cheaper, but not so much cheaper that I'd buy there. Being in the US, I'm a bit cautious about buying from a company in Honk Kong that advertises on ebay in Australian currency. I'm trying to figure out why they do that, actually.
If their "no questions asked" policy is true for exchanges, that's a nice feature, but I'd still be cautious.

mothman 12.21.2005 11:34 PM

But look at the feedback.. I think I'll get one..

squeeforever 12.22.2005 12:55 AM

actually the company is in australia i think but has them shipped from hongkong. the shipping is only 7 or 8 bucks usd. if you read closely its not 21 dollars. thats for some kind of express shipping. also, the black motors they sell are a-class. they are not the same as the C motors. a little bit different. i think its mostly in the can design. probably to keep cost down.

Basketti 12.22.2005 01:13 AM

yeah i might get one aye, i just want to know what turn it is? cause i want an 8xl and i might end up getting a 15xl or something lol

junkman 12.22.2005 01:38 AM

I had emailed them a few days ago about a motor and a lipoly pack for my mini-t. I am yet to get a reply so I just went ahead and bought an 8xl from here that way I would be sure of what I was getting & support if needed.

Basketti 12.22.2005 02:15 AM

yeah i asked what turn the motor was but they havent replied

mmdooley 12.22.2005 09:27 PM

Hey if you hav any luck let me know. I like the idea of a rebuildable motor not to mention the (black) looks sick.

Basketti 12.23.2005 06:34 AM

I just ordered one of their xl motors lol only cost me $60NZ which is about $40US. It will probably come after new years i guess. Im in no rush i still have to order a 9920 from mike.

Basketti 01.16.2006 10:34 PM

Well i FINALLY got it! lol it came in a box and on the box theres a pic of a small motor and a big one and it says, we are powerful small or large. is that the normal box? just trying to work out if this a cheap motor or the real thing. on the motor itself it has 2903kv, FG28-67. Does that give any idea to what turn the motor is? I asked the people i bought it from but i get one of those emails from a computer about shipping and checking ur order, its not like theres actually someone there reading my email and answering my questions lol.

boss 302 01.16.2006 11:01 PM

if it is an xl with a kv rating of 2903 than it must be a very low turn motor(correct me if im wrong).

Basketti 01.16.2006 11:08 PM

hmm so it should be fast right?

Basketti 01.17.2006 05:42 AM

Come on i know one of you brushless gurus knows the answer. :)

Yes boss 302, that is a low turn motor, I would guess a 6XL. Basketti, it will be very fast but also very hot in a maxx. Controller wise, I would look at no less than a 12020.

BrianG 01.17.2006 03:59 PM

Wow, those are pretty cheap. The feigao site has the graphs for all the "purple" ones:
http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/cp-102738.html

I like the way these look better than the purple ones, or even the A class:
http://caihongz.ebigchina.com/sdp/85...d/1687040.html

Too bad Mike doesn't have these listed - I know he can probably get them, but I didn't know they were even available: http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/pd...536-51426.html

if u ran a 6xl in your truck u wouldnt get very much runtime but it would be very fast.
you could use lipos with a high mah and be able to run longer

squeeforever 01.17.2006 04:43 PM

i really hate to be the bearer of bad news but im pretty sure you have a 380 size xl.....

I don't know. The title says 380XL, but the product description for the item number he posted in the frist post says it's a 54084xxL. If it is wrong, he can get an exchange or money back for a false listing...

squeeforever 01.17.2006 05:10 PM

thats what im hoping because i bought 3 although the only motor with a kv of 2903 is the 380 8xl.

coolhandcountry 01.17.2006 06:42 PM

I emailed the man and was told he had no 540 can except in the 20turn model. I get a wanderer from mike I know what I getting.

Basketti 01.17.2006 10:52 PM

yeah i thought it was small lol!! so its like no good for my maxx then? i dont mind it was only $40US maybe i can sell it for more lol

Well i just sent them a nice little email telling them how happy i am that they sent me the wrong motor, cause in the auction discription its says its a 540 size xl motor, not only once but it says it twice! and i am so happy that it took 25 days after payment for me to recieve my motor.

i really dont want to send the other motor back, its not my fault they sent me the wrong one, why should i take some of my time driving all the way to the post office stand in line and then send it back casue of their mistake?? anyway i'll let u all know what they say :)

squeeforever 01.18.2006 12:17 AM

please do. i hope thats not what there sending to everybody that bought them :o :o

Basketti 01.18.2006 04:47 AM

well its stupid in the first place to have the title saying its a 380 size motor and then the auction description saying its 540 size!

SpEEdyBL 01.18.2006 09:24 PM

If you keep the motor, you can still run it in a maxx. The rotor is the same size as the novak hv maxx rotor.

squeeforever 01.18.2006 10:27 PM

dont think it will get hot?

Basketti 01.18.2006 11:10 PM

it probably would get hot aye, since its only a 380 size.

squeeforever 01.18.2006 11:35 PM

well like he said, the novak is a 380. and if im not mistake the feigao 380xl is gonna be a little longer which would be pretty good.

coolhandcountry 01.19.2006 08:40 AM

There is one way to find out. Have to mount it up and run it. Let us know how it does. May get longer run times. May have to gear down a touch to.

squeeforever 01.19.2006 09:03 AM

how many cells could you run on that motor? 12 max?
