You have got to be kidding!

lincpimp 02.05.2009 02:06 PM

Since mine is mainly plastic and not al, I will only ask $3000... Batteries included! As well as my M11 radio, and a charger if you like. Or 2. I will even throw in a few other emaxxes too.

At the asking price Neil, you would have a 10yr. supply:mdr:

_paralyzed_ 02.05.2009 03:33 PM

That's been on for awhile. Who's gonna buy it?

$6000 will get you a lb. of sticky nugs, I can smoke an eighth in 2 days, so that would be roughly an 8 month supply. Of course these are MN prices. Our "buds" in Cali have better hook ups.

Oh, and about the t-maxx: pfffft:rofl:

TDC57 02.05.2009 08:29 PM

well one (OZ) is currently $350.00 for humbolt (so I’ve been told) so @ $6K that roughly 16oz or 16 months of.. Well you know..

Not that I would really know for sure mind you!, just guessing of course..

shizzon 02.05.2009 08:35 PM

Thats why you have friends with green cards!!!! One of my buddies came back to school with a pound of his families crop.... didnt last him too long though, i think 2 months.

My good buddy paid $500 for OZ of Cannibus Cup winner from 2008. $400 for Medical Grade from California. For $6000k, well, I can't even fathom how toasted I would be. This is the thing I hate the most about being in the Army. No drugs.

I actually asked today "What if I get stationed in California and get a prescription from an Army doctor? Am I covered then?" Turns out the answer is a resounding NO!!!!!

Dang it, just a few more years. I am so getting ripped when I get out.

Somebody smoke a phatty for me.......in honor of my sacrifice.

Takedown 02.05.2009 09:12 PM

Linc would you sell it as a roller for my offer of $1800?

JERRY2KONE 02.05.2009 09:23 PM

Hang on a minute there.

Let me check my wallet? I should have $6000 in there somewhere. Oh sh!t its gone. Someone stole my money. Oh crapp that was just a dream thinking that anyone has $6K laying around wanting to spend it on one R/C toy right now. Does this guy not know that we are in a recession, and that money is tight? He must be smoking something wacky. Not that I know anything about that stuff. Shaun you seem well versed on that subject young man????? So wine is not the only thing keeping you up doing extreme R/C projects at night??? Harold you really need to give that habit up. You can spend that money on more R/C toys and have even more fun. Why don't you hop up that chair of yorus and go racing yourself at the R/C track?? I will handle the remote control for you. I am a good driver, HONEST...

Really $6K for a 6 wheel T-Maxx... Who needs it??? Yea it is kind of cool, if you build it yourself, but it is pretty much worthless otherwise. He needs to spend the time breaking it down into smaller pieces and seling it as a part out project. He may even be able to recover most of his investment that way. Oh well good luck with that.

1k per wheel, arm, cvd, 2 shocks, half a tower, knuckle, couple bearings, steering/toe link, half a bumper, 1/6 of a body...

kulangflow 02.05.2009 09:28 PM

Is there any chance that it's a typo and he really meant $600? That seems at least somewhat reasonable. He has 86 transactions, 100% positive, so you'd think he'd have a rough idea. I'm hoping it's just a typo.

What's_nitro? 02.05.2009 09:53 PM

^^ DaaAAaamm!! If he had it listed for $600 I'd buy it!!! Anything like that I would sell for: what is cost me (inc. shipping) + 10% assembly fee :mdr: + actual shipping charge. That would be far less than s.i.x-t.h.o.u.s.a.n.d d.o.l.l.a.r.s :gasp:.

Hmm, I guess so. The esc and batts are worth at least 1k each, so that founds like a deal.

What's_nitro? 02.05.2009 10:21 PM

 Linc, is that your seller ID?

NAh... I do not like al like that friut bag does.

What's_nitro? 02.05.2009 10:25 PM

I agree. Full alloy builds aren't practical (IMO) for any type of serious driving. If you're only gonna run it in the Thanksgiving parade, then go for it. The only exception would be crawlers.

JERRY2KONE 02.05.2009 11:03 PM

I am sure.

With his 100% rep in tact I am sure that he honestly has close to that tied up in the truck, but it is a novelty truck. Nothing more nothing less. If you layed out all of the parts installed in it I am sure that it is worth some dough, and probably worth every penny. But who in the hell lays out $6K up front on a project that is already built? Where is the fun in that? Like I said he needs to dismantle the truck and sell off the parts. Even if he charges top dollar at that point the hit is much less of an issue for the average R/C consumer. I am willing to bet that most of the people on RCM do not spend that much in a year on R/C gear. Not everyone has a house full of $$$$$ in R/C stuff like lincpimp does:rofl:. Someone needs to take this guy by the shoulders and shake the hell out of him hoping to knock some sense into him. What does he think that Bill Gates is going to drop in and start an R/C hobby?????:na:

One liners.

Hey James your one liners never seise to amaze me :intello:(NAh... I do not like al like that friut bag does.) Fruit bag?? You crack me up linc. If you price all of his gear out it may be worth a few thousand, but asking $6K for it is just rediculous from my perspective. People are loosing their jobs, their homes, their cars, and prices are still going up. Is this guy nuts or what?

Takedown 02.05.2009 11:38 PM

I dont know linc. $1000 for esc and another grand for the motor? Price seems a little to low for comfort.

Well, If you were willing to trade me your 1/5 scale truck and some cash I could do that...

hemiblas 02.06.2009 12:29 AM

I dont have $6,000 in my jeep yet and I can drive it to work when I have to. Thats just crazy. There are 12 bids though. I'm kinda curious to see what they were. You never know, there's a sucker born every minute. Me personally I got nervous just looking at the add with my ebay account logged in. One accidental click and .......

What's_nitro? 02.06.2009 12:55 AM

It would have to be two accidental clicks..... I think you would lose the benefit-of-the-doubt with the second one!

That guy is a fruit bag (he would be a nut bag if he had a $100 buy-it-now) See the difference!

Glad i made you laugh Jerry. If I only make one person spit their drink all over their pc I will have succeeded...

bensf 02.06.2009 02:42 AM

Am I the only one who thinks that it might be fun to drive with a 2200 series neu? I could see some huge powerslides and stuff.

But his price is ridiculous.

What's_nitro? 02.06.2009 02:46 AM

^^^ $6400 + Batts. + ESC + Radio..........

Tempted 02.06.2009 03:46 AM

It looks like a busted centipede. I bet Cooleocool and Malibu-epic fail-69 got together and built it. Now maybe they can take it and crash it into some rocks.

FG101C 02.06.2009 07:50 AM

Funny thing is I bet someone buys it for that much or almost that much. Pretty cool anyway. Stop talking about all the greenery your making me miss the good old days, damn job. :grrrrrr:

Jerry- I have! Been clean since the first of the year. I spoke about it in another thread asking about the recession, and I stated I had to quit to fund my r/c addiction. It's fun to talk about, and fun to do, but in reality a waste of time, money, and possibly the worst side effect, it drains your motivation. Also I don't eat like a horse anymore. That's gotta help........

The funny thing is I do better in school when i am using then when i quit, i tried to see how i would do without it and i ended up doing horrible. Now that im back on my regiment my grades have risen considerably, go figure.

As they say: Study High, Test High, Get High Grades....lol j/k.

But as with anything else its about moderation, I know when its appropriate and when its not.
