Do you have this in your tool box?

This thread is something to keep the clutter out of the PIF thread. small things that you might need for your vehicle-that people would otherwise throw out. can be asked for here. dont ask for a Neu or a MMM- anything like that. just odds and ends... please keep chatter to a dull roar.

Wanted- 1/10th st shocks, standard or 550 brushed motors.

10th scale shocks - for what?

E-Revonut 02.08.2009 04:04 AM

OK, I guess I can follow. instead of posting what you have to offer this is posting up what you need! I'm willing to help anyone I can.

I could use a single motor plate and gear cover for an E-REVO, sway bar for REVO, and a girlfriend!

Be careful what you ask for. Harold might make a road trip after he reads that...

BL_RV0 02.08.2009 11:16 AM

I could use alum servo arms (1 sided), a gear for a HS-5645MG servo (the one with the spline shaft on it that the arm attaches to), and a black wing that will fit on a hyper st.

I gave my aluminum GH ones to Ian and haven't seen or heard of them in a weeks.......

And I need 2 rear CVD's (diff to wheels) for a 2.5 style Maxx (can't use anything meant for 3.3 knuckles) so if anyone has some spares laying around I would be glad to take them off your hands, they would be going to a great new home...

rawfuls 03.08.2009 12:02 PM

I too have some bulk heads.

maxair45 03.08.2009 05:33 PM

Aluminum or plastic? I think I may have a couple kicking around.

brushlessboy16 04.04.2009 05:27 PM

3-4mm reamer or drill bit for suspension arms etc

and 3mm ID washers :)

E-Revonut 04.04.2009 09:40 PM

Brushlessboy16 - I don't have a 3 or 4mm drill bit to send you, but for something this small I would recomend just going to a Home depot, Lowes, or small hardware store. Generally you can get small drill bits for about $2. I bought a 2 pack of 1/8" high speed bits for about $3 at Home depot. Something that cheap isn't worth shipping when you can get it around the corner for that little. Same with the washers, prolly get like a 10 pack at home depot for $2, best bet though is a small hardware store, the washers are prolly like $0.08 each!

brushlessboy16 04.04.2009 09:48 PM

Ill look ito it, thanks :)

KMN 04.05.2009 02:31 AM

I've got 2 traxxas 550's and 2 graupner 550's with your name on them.

The TRX's are stock e-maxx, and the graupners are the same.

Let me know if you're still looking. I agree with the hardware store, but don't bother looking at lowes or HD. Half the time I end up buying a bratwurst I didn't need because I couldn't find what I needed. HD and Lowes around here don't compare to the local "stock every size" shops.

Does he have an extra? We can't all just jump to conclusions... Besides, if someone gave it to him on pif then its somewhat justifiable to put it back on pif.

BL_RV0 04.07.2009 09:05 PM

Even though there is nothing wrong wiht PIFing a PIF, I have 2 3905 mounts......

Krawlin 04.07.2009 09:12 PM

But there is something wrong with me paying forward $160 worth of Maxx parts to you and you not paying forward anything to me of similar value or usefulness.

eovnu87435ds 04.07.2009 10:49 PM

ok, you flamed him, then you flamed him again, and again. Everybody knows Ian screwed up, and I'm sure he knows first hand why he shouldnt do it again. I'm not taking sides or anything, but really? it's getting old now. chris, if you feel that things still aren't right, dont waste thread space arguing about it. use aim or something else, or just duke it out. i don't care, but i don't think it has to be posted here anymore.

On a lighter note, I have a bunch of pieces of screen from a screen door i can mail out. They will be in 5"x5" squares, and are perfect for gluing into your bodies so that you can keep the hole in the windshield for airflow, but will help keep dirt and other crud out. the white crap around it is only because I screwed up with the CA

Interesting.
Is the mesh stiff?
If it's kind of stiff, kind of flexible, you could use such to repair your body cracks..

AIM sent ;)

Serious, cut it out. I'm sick of seeing this coming up again and again. Not to mention, the whole idea of PIF is to simply "pay it forward." It doesn't mean that if you give him something, he has to give you something. You PIF, then he does the same to someone else that needs something he might have. Doesn't have to be you. If that were the case it might as well simply be a trade since your talking about you getting something of equal value back. Value aside, PIF is PIF. Now DROP IT. Keep it to PM ONLY if you must say something to him about it.

replied. shipping today. This is fiberglass screen, the same exact stuff used to screen windows in houses. it is flexible, and i'm guessing it could be used to mend your body, although I have never tried.
