GP4300s. :)

Look smart. Wonder if it is any better than the IBs (4200)? I'm looking at buying some soon, just don't know which.

MetalMan 01.06.2006 07:53 PM

Wow... Seems like the capacity of a sub-c is growing exponentially! Too bad I don't work with NiMh ;).

Sylvester 01.06.2006 08:41 PM

Hmm, those look impressive, id wait and see what people think of them.

nbcaznmaster 01.06.2006 08:52 PM

lol, its a fight! first ib makes a new batt taaht is 100mah more, Now gp does the same thing! i wonder how much it'll cost. GP has been known to be more expensive.

Basketti 01.06.2006 10:30 PM

HAHA yeah your right! wish i had more $$ lol

crazyjr 01.06.2006 10:47 PM

the GP's should be tougher than the IB's as far as handling heat

Sylvester 01.06.2006 10:48 PM

I hope they arent more than $9 a cell, or they might be a bit more...

mmdooley 01.06.2006 11:00 PM

Hey, the price of LiPo's is steadly falling and run times are going up. I know what my next buy will be. ;)

Nick 01.07.2006 08:47 AM

You can get IB4200s from http://www.rc-mushroom.com for $5.50! :)

No news of 4300s though, they will come in soon. I'm guessing $6.50 a cell.

captain harlock 01.07.2006 09:23 AM

They're going to be heavy, aren't they?

Sylvester 01.07.2006 10:09 AM

Welll, they shouldnt be too heavy, they might add a pound to your truck:p

Serum 01.07.2006 10:59 AM

that is a better price than maxamps takes for those ib4200 (9 dollars each... ) they are 5.40 @ rc mushroom bytheway.

captain harlock 01.07.2006 11:58 AM

Fine sells his 3700 top rated GPs for 10 or 11 dollars. I wonder how much the price offer of the new 4300 is going to be like?!! 20 dollars?! possible.

Sylvester 01.07.2006 12:00 PM

Good luck selling them, hes gonna have to lower his prices for sure!

Serum 01.07.2006 12:35 PM

TIME FOR LIPO!!!

Papa 01.07.2006 12:47 PM

captain harlock 01.07.2006 01:23 PM

Well, I cant say it, yet.

Sylvester 01.07.2006 01:24 PM

Same here....

squeeforever 01.07.2006 01:43 PM

for 5.40 a cell i think lipos can wait for a few months....

Nick 01.07.2006 05:06 PM

4200/4300s are same sized cell as the 3800s. ;)

mmdooley 01.07.2006 06:24 PM

In a few months, AAAMEN!!

Sylvester 01.07.2006 07:04 PM

Guys,
PLEASE DO NOT BUY IB 4200s - All sellers are returning them to Intellect because of a shorting problem. The cell should be updated by March. The IB 4200 supposedly has better voltage than the GP4300s and will be cheaper. I would definately go with the 4200 over the 4300 - just a matter of how patient you are... I'm still not seeing why people want the 4200s, races are 5 minutes and people have plenty of mah to spare... The discharge curve is the same regardless of what people are saying... As for bashing, it is much more affordable to buy two packs of IB 3600s - they have the same voltages as the 3800 and 4200s, and are selling at Boom Boom Batteries for only $36.99 per assembled pack... Just my $.02 - I like to keep my customers aware of whats going on as I hate seeing people buy something thats not worth their money. Hope I don't get killed for this!

thanks for the info and i dont think that you are going to be killed because of it i ussually dont by new cells as soon as they come out because of problems that may occurr in the first few months of production(and i can ussually get tham cheaper after they have been out for a few months)

Alex Berman 01.09.2006 07:58 AM

Depends where you got them...

Serum 01.09.2006 01:52 PM

Mike and Alex would certainly take them back.. ;)

squeeforever 01.09.2006 02:04 PM

well i talked to steve (guy from offshoreelectrics.com) and he said only some of them come in that are bad and he will check them before he ships them and if i do get a bad one he will replace it for free. the only reason i didnt get them from mike was i need them ASAP and i dont think he has them in stock. also, once i get my 8xl in i will tell yall how they perform. hope i dont rip my diffs apart like R00ST did...

coolhandcountry 01.09.2006 02:10 PM

I hope not either squee. Let me know how that 8xl does.

Serum 01.09.2006 02:17 PM

No need to apologies buddy!

I hear you, glad he takes it this sportive.

But it can ruin a controller, if you have got a loose contact in the batteries though!!

nbcaznmaster 01.09.2006 02:25 PM

sue them!
