What system for SC10?

I ordered a SC10 yesterday from a retailer that showed "In Stock" for a great price. I'm thinking about running a 17.5 system in it just to be sure if I ever race it, it'll fit within the ROAR rules as a minimum.

Any suggestions for a BL setup for it?

Damn its cheaper than the slash. That is eye catching.

Thanks man.

That does seem like a good deal. Since I just traded the slash off, should I buy it? It must handle better than the slash...

Takedown 04.07.2009 01:31 PM

I would.

Just the sealed, fluid tunable gear diff alone should make it handle worlds better than the Slash.

That and it is based off a decent stadium truck with a racing design... Nothing against the rustler but it is not the best thing available...

Doesn't come with electronics, though.

But the T4 front end isn't quite as strong as the Rustler's. And if you put a SC10 against a Slash, I'm sure the Slash would win in a durability contest. 'Course it'd have to catch up to the SC10 first...

Totally agree with both of these statements. The Rustler is tough as nails, but handles like a turd compared to a T4.

damn if i hadnt just bought a FT t4 this past week i would totally jump on that deal, hmmmm i still may thats a hard deal to pass up.

jayjay283 04.07.2009 07:27 PM

well at that price had to grab one ! $162.98 shipped. I bought the thunder tech chassis for my Slash, that and the SC10 should be some good racing. Ill throw either the vxl combo in or the losi 4800 depending on how light it is.

I would think the sc10 would be lighter than the slash, as the t4 is lighter than a rusty...

I think i will be ordering one this evening...

jayjay283 04.07.2009 07:35 PM

the slash is my old flm pede with even arms conversion, its heavy, im thinking vxl on 3s for that and in that lighter sc10 on 2s 4800 losi 1/10th.. We need too have a jamboree with all of 'em

BL_RV0 04.07.2009 09:13 PM

Very tempting to say the least.

lincpimp 04.07.2009 11:50 PM

Just ordered one... Time to sell stuff.
