Knock off 580L Feigao

I was just looking on Ebay today for no real reason and I found this. http://cgi.ebay.com/Large-B44-2000KV...3A1%7C294%3A50
It looks just like a Feigao 580L, but it doesn't have screws in the front of the can. Its also a lot more shiny.

lincpimp 06.09.2009 11:17 PM

Shiny = Better! If you are a chic! J/k not that any women read this forum, but I would hate to be labeled as a sexist (just sexy!).

traxxasbasher13 06.09.2009 11:42 PM

Lol.

zeropointbug 06.09.2009 11:46 PM

Looks like a KB motor.

Linc, you really are a fat bastard!

traxxasbasher13 06.09.2009 11:53 PM

It does other than the 5mm shaft.

e-rev project 06.10.2009 12:05 AM

BrianG 06.10.2009 12:38 PM

BTW, what is a "monster truck boat"?

nitrostarter 06.10.2009 12:50 PM

BG, I noticed that wording also, I thought it was some new craze...

zeropointbug 06.10.2009 01:03 PM

It's a monster truck with a hull on the bottom of it so you can skip across the water... duh

traxxasbasher13 06.10.2009 07:54 PM

That would be sick! I think monster truck boat means for a monster truck or a boat.

zeropointbug 06.10.2009 08:40 PM

thanks basher13

Yeah, I kinda figured. But the description should have said "for monster truck or boat". The way they stated it was ambiguous.

zeropointbug 06.10.2009 09:39 PM

I'd love to try that... I think the badlands would work even, if you gear up enough for ballooning, it might just float over the water with enough head speed.

Jason 06.11.2009 10:06 AM

this motor is a HOBBYWING EZRUN-4465SL

_paralyzed_ 06.11.2009 11:54 AM

not even good for a paperweight......

BrianG 06.11.2009 11:56 AM

Actually, with one motor, you could make a decent paperweight and a really good fridge magnet.

Although, large speaker magnets make the best fridge magnets. You can post a whole book on the fridge with one of those!

What's_nitro? 06.11.2009 12:13 PM

Yeah and they can pull out their own dents from when you let them hit the fridge too hard!

Jason 06.11.2009 03:59 PM

I have running many ezrun motor and work perfectly without any issue...

NOPE! These do!

4" diameter. 2" thick.

BrianG 06.11.2009 04:45 PM

OK, maybe speaker magnets don't make the "best" fridge magnets, but they do make darn good ones!

Actually, speaker magnets ARE better because there are "edges" to grab onto so you can pull them off. You'd need some type of prybar to get those off!

rootar 06.11.2009 10:51 PM

actually those would prolly yank the prybar out of your hands....

_paralyzed_ 06.11.2009 11:26 PM

:intello:i was thinking its round and would roll off all but the levelest of desks. it was a funny. you peeps is so literal, yo:yes:

zeropointbug 06.11.2009 11:31 PM

Yah, I have quite a few Neodymium magnets from experiments i've done... the biggest I have is 2"x2" circular one like that.... and when I got them in(5 years ago) I had them sitting 3 feet apart on the table and I picked one up got a little too close to one and it pulled my hand right to another one, and BAM, I've got 2 fingers in between them, #$*#&@$*(@#&$**(!!! You can probably guess what I yelled out, yelling, and swearing... lol Took two other ppl and two giant screw drivers to get my fingers out, soo strong. It felt like they were going to fall off, literally!

Anyways those hold, IIRC, 350lbs... so my fingers had 350lbs of pressure on them.

That thing must be a half ton magnet, at least... :oh:

That's where I got my magnets from too, I recognize the picture.

BrianG 06.12.2009 12:15 AM

You think that hurts? Try jamming a hot soldering iron under your finger nail. Or ripping a toenail off with the rotating head of a vacuum cleaner.

And yes, those have happened to me. Lots of expletives were said...

zeropointbug 06.12.2009 01:25 AM

"expletives" LOL Good way to put it.

Yeah, I can beat that hands DOWN.

Grade 7, swinging in doorway, not watching, friends closed door on me 5 fingers, hinge side, door locked, expletives, expletives, "open the 'expletives' door", kicking door while fingers locked in, expletives... about 1 minute later (seemed like eternity) finally opened door, pulled hand out, 4 of the five fingers had the nails ripped from the back and peeled like a banana right off. My pinky didn't even get hurt, too small!

Get this, no broken bones, these are thick oak doors! Put 4 finger dents in the door! :diablo:

lincpimp 06.12.2009 01:34 AM

Since we are on hand injuries... I once stuff a flat blade screwdriver through the center of my right palm till the handle touched my palm and about 4" of the bade was sticking out the other side of my hand. I was taking drum brake springs off an old lincoln. I did not scream or curse, just gazed in awe of what I had done. My dad had to pull the screwdriver out, I just could not do it. No stitches, just paper towels and masking tape and back to work!

traxxasbasher13 06.12.2009 12:39 PM

Holy crap! That mush have hurt like hell.

What's_nitro? 06.12.2009 12:43 PM

I'm sure the adrenaline kept him from feeling anything. It's better off that way. Trust me. The worst thing that's happened to me is a dislocated shoulder- then again 6 months later- AND again about 8 months after that. Same shoulder each time.

Oh- running a close second is that time I dropped a weed wacker on my big toe, engine side first. Lost my toe nail a week later. It grew back though.

Arct1k 06.12.2009 12:47 PM

My Brother did the same to me with a dart - He didn't wait for me to get mine from the board before throwing his - Same kind of thing through my palm and and bulged out the other side of hand. No stitches etc

Also had hand trapped inside a volvo door lock - Only I was 6 and it was my birthday party - Everyone else ran inside and started the party and I was stuck in the driveway with my hand in the lock. Only took them 10mins to realize!

zeropointbug 06.12.2009 12:57 PM

Bunch of pussies, screw drivers through the hand! ppssshh

I win! :na:

J/k
