Usps

I hate when packages are shipped parcel service... It takes entirely too long to get them:whip::whip:

People, learn how to cheat the system, Priority is the way to go!:diablo:

Metallover 06.13.2009 11:28 AM

Why would you ship with anything other then priority?

JerryF504 06.13.2009 11:28 AM

I actually got a package from Ca. in 2 days using parcel post but most of the time it takes a whole week. I hate that wait.

Fill my in on the "cheat" I'm sure my e-bay customers will apreciate it much. I always ship parcel post because I thought priority was more expensive? After a mishap on e-bay though I always add a tracking number to cover my but, and sugest anyone else to do the same.

Priority is around the same (sometimes even less for small packages), but parcel post is much cheaper for large packages.

Metallover 06.13.2009 01:13 PM

UPS ground is comparable to priority, right?

Prices greatly depend on dates. I'm not sure when it's the cheapest but towards and into the weekends it get a little more expensive.

BL_RV0 06.13.2009 01:18 PM

UPS ground is 6 days, while priority is 2-3.

sorry, I meant cost. Are they about the same?

BL_RV0 06.13.2009 01:21 PM

Yep.

rawfuls 06.13.2009 01:27 PM

I've had great luck with shipping priority, most of my stuff have made it there within 1-2 days, like they advertise. *KNock on wood*

Last time I checked, priority is only 5 cents more...

BL_RV0 06.13.2009 01:44 PM

Priority FTW...

rawfuls 06.13.2009 01:56 PM

Agreed.

I won't buy from people that use parcel post, it's way too slow and untrustworthy. It only costs a little more if any to send most stuff priority. I have had many priority items get to me in 1 day.

nitrostarter 06.13.2009 02:17 PM

Yep! I only ship PRiority w/ tracking number.
I just bought a M11 off Rctech and the guy shipped it on Thursday, Priority. Its at the PO today, Saturday, now. Problem is, I can't get the package until Monday when my PO is open again.
I shipped my Revo in a trade, I used Priority. It went from LA to Michigan in 2 days.

I just hate when people choose the cheaper route because it takes FOREVER!

I will say this. Anytime you sell something and use Paypal for the buyer to pay. When it askes if you want to make a shipping label, choose USPS and then pick the cheapest flat rate box option.

nitrostarter 06.15.2009 11:52 AM

One more thing that makes me angry:

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...r/shipping.jpg

For me, this guys offers 2 shipping methods:
Parcel shipping at $10.80
Priority shipping at $10.85

Is that even a question on which I'll choose? I mean come on, am I hurting that bad? I have to save a nickel and wait twice as long? Blows my simple mind sometimes....

cmcclive 06.15.2009 12:02 PM

the advantage with priority is in the flat rate boxes.... if you got something that is heavy, but not larger, you can get a great price... plus is make calculation shipping easier as you know how much it is going to cost regardless of weight (as long as it fits in the box).

nitrostarter 06.15.2009 12:14 PM

I've used prepaid flat rate shipping and a plain brown box. They don't check it...

rawfuls 06.15.2009 06:27 PM

Yep, it's only 5 cents more, if you really want to save 5 cents by getting it 20 days later, then there's something wrong in the brain.
