I just can't stop the urge to buy things. I saw the VXL E-Revo's pop In Stock on Tower, so I had to buy one. That alone doesn't make me an addict, but the fact that I already have 2 of them sitting at home likely does. Is anyone else quite as addicted to buying RC vehicles?

if i had the cash, i'd be buying a LOT. the e-revo VXL's are very tempting...i'm almost at the verge of giving in. if you decide to sell one of your 3, let me know. :mdr:

I know how you feel when it comes to buying rc . I had to set a limit this summer and of course that lasted 3 weeks...:whistle: So I am out of money until this winter:diablo:...for good reason though..my daughter goes to private school and it is not cheap!

If money wasn't an object...I would own my own rc shop complete w/2 indoor tracks and I would pay someone else to run it so I could play!:yes:

I'v got you all beat, I made/spent $4k last year, 3K of wich were on RC:sleep::oops:

I don't think you have very many people beat, There is people that have spent 30k. I know this past year I have almost 10k and I don't consider that beating many..

I usually spend 3-4 grand a year on racing. if not more. But if your like linc and have 6 of every car made, you have deep pockets.

I just find alot of good deals... I have no idea what I have spent on rc, but I can say that this is year number 3 of my being in this hobby... I have owned 120+ vehicles so far, and currently have at least 40. That is not counting multiples of the same thing either

There's a few reasons I like them...

Add lipo, swap out the Rx for Spektrum and it's ready to bash.

If it breaks, it's a heck of a lot cheaper to fix than anything larger.

Batts are much cheaper than 1/10th or 1/8th scale.

It's much easier to drive one of these in the street in front of my house without fear of damaging the truck itself, someone walking down the road or a parked car.

It's fun as heck to drive.

And do you mean heck of alot cheaper to fix because of parts? or because when one breaks, you take the other off the shelf and put your batteries in it and continue running

even better! when running a long main at your local track, dont do a battery swap, just throw mini-revo #2 on the track!

I'm pretty sick but not as bad as many others. I usually own 10 RC's at any given time and have always hade a few Nitro's or a fuelie in the stable. January this year I went 100% electric and aint looking back. I have built several hundred and sold them or over the years. Ben in the Hobbys about 20yrs, but these last 6-7 is where I have spent the most coin by far. It's all BL and Lipos fault.
