? on my MMM warranty for patrick

So my V2 died the other day yay me lol. But what I wanted to know was if they will still replace all V2s no matter what? Cause when I first got it last september I fixed the connecters touching the heatsink, and took the switch off. I also have had to replace the servo cable. I sent a pm to patrick but no reply yet, so maybe he will see it here lol.

they all come back as new v3's

Finnster 07.16.2009 04:08 PM

That's what Mike told me last week after my v2 suddenly died out at the track. Bad thing is I won't get it back before the bash I bet... Had mine since last June IIRC.

BTW, if they come back as v3s, do they still have the bullet connectors all the way around, or are the motor wires now soldered directly?

Bondonutz 07.16.2009 04:14 PM

Battery wires Soldered Directly and Castle will replace V2's no Q's asked

the motor uses bullets but the battery wires are soldered directly to the board

Finnster - I think i should be able to organize a spare...

You could also try running it off of 120/240 depending on what country you live in.

Sammus 07.19.2009 12:32 AM

ikpthegame 07.22.2009 03:35 AM

Well sent it out monday but forgot to put the battery and motor wires in the box, is that a problem?

Sammus 07.22.2009 03:42 AM

Not usually. I did that last time without thinking, and received a brand new sealed esc in the mail, with new wires and castle link and all. I feel kinda bad, but its barely worth returning the castle link, I'd spend as much in shipping as what it costs to buy one new... kinda doesn't make sense for me to return it.
