You know, it's based on a traxxas slash which is probably 18" long, so that thing has to be at least 100/1 scale.:na:

What's_nitro? 07.22.2009 06:17 PM

Very cool. I want one, too! The truck is 1:1 since it's real size, the Tx would be 10:1 since it's scaled to the truck.

ANGRY-ALIEN 07.22.2009 06:20 PM

What Motor/ESC Combo would you get for that?

That truck is not 1:1- its only parked ~20yards away from those real 1:1 pickups, yet its about 3 times the size, clearly not a life size inflatable model...

Since its based on a real 1:1 Corr truck, I'd say its about 2:1 scale- the tx is something like 50:1 or so..

This motor should be enough.... http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/...roadster-5.jpg

Perspective is everything I suppose. I don't think it's 2:1 though. Based on the real cars back there and also the generator behind the truck, the horizon is about 30" off the ground. So those tires look to be about 44" tall. I get the feeling that the photographer was kneeling down to take that picture.

Actually, you are prob right, it's more like 3:1 on second thought.

rawfuls 07.22.2009 06:45 PM

It was on Traxxas's site as well.. Thought you guys already knew that.. xD

did you happen to bring a tape measure and measure any dimension on it so that the scale wars could be ended once and for all?

starscream 07.27.2009 02:02 AM

I'm getting one for sure
What batteries should I use for this?
Hyperion G3's or Fullymax?
