The most epic fail.

Your good buddy eovnu87435ds tried to get personal with a drill press- the drill press wasn't his type.. they got into a fight and then ended up with this...

E-Revonut 07.23.2009 11:36 PM

OK, WHAT THE HELL WAS YOUR HEAD DOING THAT CLOSE TO A MOVING DRILL PRESS???? I could understand a hand getting messed up in a drill press, but scalping you? I am laughing at your lack of power tool safety awareness......and you in general cause it's hilarious that it happened to you and not me!

lincpimp 07.23.2009 11:50 PM

See kids, that is why all of us "old dudes" have short haircuts... Plus we do not get mistaken for chics by desperate mexicans either.

I hope you heal up Mike, and get a haircut for pete's sake, you look like one of those crappy 60s "rock" band members like ringo star from the beat-less...

brushlessboy16 07.24.2009 12:16 AM

Well its good cuz his long hair covers the hole. if he gets it cut then it will look worse. unless he goes for the skinhead look

Metallover 07.24.2009 12:49 AM

He looks just like to violinist from Kansas.

rawfuls 07.24.2009 01:18 AM

I love Arct1k's one word post....
One word can be funny as hell...

And Mike..... I'm starting to feel bad... This chassis was for me...

But you're still gonna keep working on it.... right?:whistle::intello:

Roflmao, I guess I'm not the only person that's happened to, +1 on the short hair.

eovnu87435ds 07.24.2009 02:42 AM

in my defense, the drill press was off when it happened. I thought it had spooled down all the way. it was silent, the sneaky SOB... so I leaned on to test fit and screw on the post for my servo mount. it was still barely spining. grabbed my hair, and stopped the drill after half a turn. I said oww. Ben was like holy shit! I said the same because I was stuck on the drill press! I spun it the other way until I felt I was free. I leaned away, and found the giant hairball attached to the bit. Ben said are you alright? I said yeah. He said good, because that was funny as hell, and started to fall over in laughter.

For those wondering, I am kind of accident prone. (Ive fallen out of a tree, onto a fence. twice. in 2 different trees.) The pain factor was a 4/10 for the initial yank. then throughout the night, I kept getting these headaches that were about a 6/10. Fortunately, the way my hair normally sits, you cant see the giant bald spot.

Chris, I feel the need to thank you for sticky-ing this thread. I was going to keep the hair that ripped out, but then I thought that you deserved it more than I do. Consider it my thank you for making this a sticky. Its already in an envelope addressed right to you, so you should have it just in time before the rc-m bash!

Finnster 07.24.2009 07:27 AM

lol, I'm thinking the both of you should stay away form power tools... :)

Patrick 07.24.2009 09:12 AM

eovnu87435ds and brushlessboy16: 0
Power tools: 2

nitrostarter 07.24.2009 10:01 AM

I most certainly agree. The mexicans thing was getting old day after day... So I'm shaved pretty close to bald now!

That's what I thought nitro..

And about her driving Mike's cars..... I've heard horror stories.

BL_RV0 07.24.2009 01:38 PM

The hyper 7 did not fare well...

Bondonutz 07.24.2009 01:41 PM

That made my afternoon, funny stuff. Both of you guys are dangerous !
I strongly reccomend adult supervision next time you boys are playing with power tools.

Which one there are a few..

the one where I let her drive my matrix and the first thing she did was floor it in reverse. it went sreaming into my shins wing first..

then there was the time when shewas jumping the hyper 7.. was lining up for a jump that was set up at the curb.. crept up to it then gassed it- missed the jump entirely and went WOT head first into the curb.. broke a front a-arm

then this is the worst one. about a week after Mike fried his first MMM and batteries, i had just gotten in a set of smc 4100mah 2s packs.. I lent him the batteries the day I got them (i hadnt even run them myself), and said these are brand new, take it easy. Well he let her drive and she ended up going full throttle into a tree! so hard it knocked the speed controller off its mount, busted both endbells off of his feigao motor and hit so hard it ripped a solder connection off inside one of my brand new hardcased batteries!:oh:
I was not a happy camper that day...

Then there was the time she drove the hyper into the sewer

and the list goes on..
Shes a cool girl- just not much of a driver.

BL_RV0 07.24.2009 02:05 PM

She needs a stock slash on training mode...

scarletboa 07.24.2009 02:58 PM

wow,a that reminds me of when i accidentally ripped a chunk of my little brother's friend's hair out with a roto-start. whenever i spun it, he would jump, so i (stupidly) put in his hair to sare him and i don't know how, but the tiny little pin onthe end caught a bunch of his hair.

one year later, the hair is just now starting to grow back. i was scared i was going to leave a permenent bald spot on him. i already have one and he didn't need one. my bald spot was from falling backwards off a mountain bike and landing headfirst onto a high grip newly paved road.

Wait... What are you talking about too? Linc calls you RawBUNS for a reason.

I guess they are trading favors with her... "Here, you can drive my rc car, and later I can ride your..."

It is just cheaper to pay for it up front...

I figured that was the incentive that made the hundreds of $$$ in repairs worth it.

Add a hard hat and a hair net to the list of safty equipment needed for you and brushlessboy16 to operate a drill press. This would be the hard way to learn to keep your hair away from rotating parts.:mdr:

rawfuls 07.24.2009 08:13 PM

More like two hard hats...
