At some point we might have some sensored motors. As far as being legal goes, all our sensor less motors have been ROAR legal for a while now. So not sure what you mean there. If you want to run in the Stock classes, you will need to run someone elses motor for that.

wallot 10.09.2009 12:27 PM

how does it compare to MMM?

micke_b 10.09.2009 12:41 PM

SWEET!

So what FETs are you using in this one?

Yea... Stock and Super stock. 13.5 is the big class here for 1/10 truck.

Read the existing MMPro thread- its along read, but theres tons of info in there, including FET specs and ratings etc.

lil3j 10.11.2009 12:30 AM

So, I know this may be a dumb question, but if tower is saying late Oct, does that mean if the esc is ordered directly from castle we wont get it until late Oct also?

suicideneil 10.11.2009 10:31 AM

I believe that tower get their ess via great planes who are the distributor for a great many online stores and LHSs, so there is always a delay between getting them from Castle > Greatplanes > Tower/ lhs. If you order them direct from Castle, then any waiting time/ delay would be down to Castle having to fulfil existing orders from Greatplanes etc (they got first dibs essentially).

RC-Monster Mike 10.11.2009 11:12 AM

Tower is Great Planes' retail outlet (yes, they directly compete with all their dist. customers and undercut the LHS profit).

Pdelcast 10.12.2009 12:21 PM

We ship in order of when the orders were placed. Period.

So, if you order from Castle today, you will receive your MMP AFTER all the other orders (including distributors) are filled.

That means it's often better to order from a dealer who has stock on order, but not all of those units backordered.

TexasSP 10.12.2009 01:46 PM

I think ordering from Mike is your best bet. Not kissing butt just the reality. I got my original MMM from him before anyone who ordered via Tower did. In fact the only person I remember getting one before me was DickyT. Now if only Mike got more into crawlers I would spend even more with him.

Finnster 10.13.2009 10:59 AM

Is there information/forms relating to the MM->MMP upgrade? I know it was mentioned in the MMP thread, I just don't see any process info on the CC website.
Thanks and good work guys!

whitrzac 10.14.2009 02:11 PM

why is the MMpro more expensive on CCs website, than anyplace else???

TexasSP 10.14.2009 02:44 PM

because in order not to undercut their retailers they have to sell at full retail

Cain 10.14.2009 03:44 PM

So there is no castle link included out of the box?

Darn. that was one of the features I liked about Castle controllers, they didn't make me run and buy more gear to access the features like some of the other guys do.

Love the warranty though, you guys still spank the rest on official warranty length.

spcpicard 10.14.2009 04:56 PM

I recieved an email from tower saying mine is being packed in the warehouse!

But on the flip side.... it might make the 10 or so castle links I have laying arround from sending all of my early MMM's in for warrany replacement worth something again. :whistle:LOL

Cain 10.14.2009 08:58 PM

LOL, yeah!

kazuaki 10.15.2009 07:41 PM

thanks. only really looking at 4s because of the stupid roar rules. already know how the 6s with the 1400kv goes. actually already know how it is with the mmpro too (previous version as a beta).

spcpicard 10.16.2009 01:43 PM

I'll be trying mine out on 6s in a losi 8ight buggy. My buggy is 7lbs .5oz ready to run with the Mamba monster esc in it, if figure with the Mamba pro it will be under 7lbs.

Arct1k 10.16.2009 03:23 PM

Its been posted - 75+5 postage but only once all orders filled...

Thomas Porfert 10.16.2009 04:39 PM

"Upgrades" will be considered just like a sales order. Meaning if we have 1000 pieces on order, you'll be #1,001. Based on the number of current back orders and our rate of production, it will be 2-3 months before the first "upgrade" will be shipped. So if you are in dire need of a replacement, the upgrade path is not your best option.

Please understand that this upgrade program is brand new for us. We are still setting up a system to make it easier on you guys and on us. The policies have been set, we just need a system in place to make it work.

I'll post more details as they become available, and keep you guys in the loop.

This is an important time for Castle. We have a wide range of new products hitting the market, with components we've never used before (Sensors, data logging and onboard adjustable BEC's). So we're excited and a little anxious at the same time. We're also working on improving the repair process. We are implementing a new system and new policies in regards to repairs and warranties. The end result should be a MUCH faster turnaround and the ability to track your repair as it moves through the different stages.

If you have questions or concerns, just post them here, this way everyone can see the answers. Thanks fellas and have a great weekend!

Those would be for bolting up a 1/10 motor to a 1/10 vehicle. Disregard them
