Forgive me for being a little thick, but what is the big deal with these cells? If it's the Wh figure, that is simply the voltage (11.1) mutiplied by the capacity (3.4Ah).
theyer just brand new, and i think that they are cool, they are suppossed tolast longer than the 18C batteries, and more power. and they havent been released yet.
Ladies and gentleman - Let it be...
Best of luck Aaron.... Please post back some eagletree results be interested to see how the packs do.... |
whats an eagletree?
I sincerely hope your not considering putting those in a Flux because 68 amp constant output isn't gonna be enough with those to fuel the MMM safely
It's a little device that plugs inline between the battery and ESC which measures voltage and current samples. After a run, you hook it to your PC, download the data from it, and look at the graphs. Those graphs will show you how the batteries are performing (by looking at the voltage drop when the current spikes hit). Here's a link: http://www.eagletreesystems.com/MicroPower/micro.htm

its fueled it safley for 5 months, i dont think ill havae ANY trouble
Best of luck

Gaa, this thread has ben altered more than a Flaming M.A. thread.
But, we should to be nice to the noob and be supportive regardless his choice of packs I reckon. He'll unfortunately suffer a loss sooner or later and we'll be there to help him. |
Exactly - everybody move on by.

someone had replied here and asked for my bash terrain? ill take some pics, and post them up, and ive had the SMC 18C batteries since may i think, and i JUST got the 2nd 20C battery in the mail via UPS like litterally 30 mins ago, ill make a video and post it on you tube, and ill show you how i run, im hoping i can find my temp gun.
im not really a noob........ ive been into this hoby for 4 years, since i was 13
13 y/o speaking disrespectably 20-50 y/o is what rubbed us up the wrong way I believe, but if you post specific info on your setup and driving style/ terrain etc it would help us understand how your lipos have survived so well- esc settings is useful info too.
Nice trainset btw... |
first of all, i said that i started at 13 im now 17. and i have a street, with now 3 HUGE leaf piles, andi do some top knotch speed runs, mabey 3 or 4 and then some likhg bashing, and then hard bashing, then i charge. ill make a vid RIGHT NOW and put it on www.youtube.com/aaron13133 check for new vids.
Not bad on the drums dude. Have fun with the lipos.
The train was purty kewl.
thanks
k so the speed run/bashing vid got rained out, and im going to the great canadian train show, so ill do it on sunday.
I scoped your channel just to check the drumming. Nice man! I drummed from 11 to 22 in everything I could- marching band, pep band, jazz band, orchestra. My buddy Mark started playing drums w/ mewhen he was 15 and I showed him the ropes. The dream was to go to Cali after high school and start a band. Well, I had a kid, and here's his band http://www.authenticsellout.com/.
He plays all over Cali and has done some really cool venues. It's actually pretty easy to make a living being a drummer if you do studio work, you can do lessons, and you can be as busy as you want doing gigs for bands. You sounded good for being 17. L8r. edit: he hates punk, btw, but you gotta pay the bills! |
I made shure all the settings on savage-flux's esc are turned down so he can control it:na::lol:
I feel a disturbance in the force...
nice, i like it!
Guys, cut it out, you are acting like 12 year olds.
Enjoy the forum, don't make the average post quality go south. |

This thread was made to show you guys my new lipo's and proove how they are good by a video, unfortunatley, my cat mangled my 2.4ghz antenna, so it is currently in the mail to airtronics, and will be back in 2 weeks, ill make a vid I PROMISE. and ill try to get that eagletree thing too if i can.
Sounds good. An EagleTree graph would be really nice to see if you can get in some good hard acceleration runs on it.

You want the eLogger v3, I'd personally go for the 150A version with wire leads rather than Deans (I'm going to convert to EC5 connectors though). The 100 amp version is cheaper but we pull some serious peak amps through these things and the 100A will not be nearly as accurate at higher amperages (it will read 100+ but not accurately). The motor and ESC in your Flux are going to pull some serious burst amps, definitely over 100. I also believe that 20C 3400 mAH packs are a bit too small for use in the Flux but I am really interested in seeing how they hold up under the load of your Savvy, if they hold their own I have found myself some new lipos for my boats :yipi: |
Amen to that, I've pulled 145A in a CRT.5 on 3s. I really wish they had a 200-250A model.
ok, its been a LONG time and im sorry, JUST got my transmitter back like 20 mins, ago, and now i cant seem to bind it back to the receiver. i have the Airtronics MX-Sport, im going to eliminator-rc right away, mabey they can help me. anyway, ill mabey make i vid tonight, if not, tommorrow for sure.
