Nba final 2010.

Anyone watching the 2010 NBA finals(Lakers vs Celtics)? How about them Celtics? What a great game 4 that was. Davis just seemed to wake up all of a sudden and shocked everyone. 8 straight points in the 4th quater. All in all I think that was the best game Boston has played all year. Everyone seems to feel that LA will take it again this year, but I am routing for the underdogs(Boston). I believe the next two games are on Sunday & Tuesday

Personally I don't really have a favorite team these days. Once teams started moving from one city to another showing very little loyalty to its fans I kind of lost interest. But I still enjoy watching the playoffs. Especially when the teams seem to be pretty evenly matched up, the games go back and forth having good games and then bad ones. Keeps things interesting not knowing who will be on the good foot each game.

Not me. I'm hoping that the Celtics smash the Lakers:yes:. With all of the injury issues on the Lakers they are falling apart:oh:. Game 5 was terrible for them:oops:. Kobi was the only player in double digit scoring:eyes:. How aweful is that? I am tired of all the Hoopla with LA and hearing how great they are because of Kobi. Phil Jackson is a great coach, but his team are not playing very well as a unit. It was almost comical listening to his fourth period pep talk in game 5 about how the Celtics have the worst 4th Qtr record in the league for choking in the 4th and losing every game and then watching the Lakers choke:lol:. 3 to 2 and all the Celtics have to do is win one of the last two games in LA.

magman 06.14.2010 08:13 PM

GO CELTICS! What a game last night. Kobe was incredible in the 3rd quarter...but, he cannot win the series alone and that was obvious last night

Daddydancool 06.14.2010 08:28 PM

if the rest of the team starts to play, it will be a lakers win, anyway we'll see tomorow

JERRY2KONE 06.15.2010 12:57 AM

Great series.

Yes it has been a great series for sure:yes:. Yes the Lakers could be a force to recon with if everyone would wake up and if everyone was at full playing capacity:whistle:. It was nice to see the Celtics finally get it together as a team and play to their full potential in games 4 & 5:na:. After hearing Phil Jacksons negative comments towards the Celtics in the 3rd Qtr in game 5 it was nice to see him eat those words at the end of the game:na:. GO CELTICS is right on for me too:yipi:.

You never know these days, The Lakers might be waiting to win their games at home. KG had a good block or two in game 5. Beat da Lakers! Beat da Lakers! Go Green!

itbvolks 06.15.2010 02:55 PM

It'll all come down to who can control the paint. Perk/KG/Sheed all have to have a presence in there. Limit LA's second chance opportunities (what they did in games 4/5), and they should put themselves in good shape.

The bottom line for the C's is, they have to play defense AND have at least two primary scorers get the job done. As we saw with LA, even Kobi can't carry the team. The score in game 5 doesn't tell the story. Boston clearly dominated the game on both ends of the floor but Kobi did what he could to carry the team. Not a Kobi fan but I've got to give the guy kudo's for stepping up in a big game/spot. For those stating/complaining about Kobi being a ball hog or hurting his team,.,.,. Please, the guy took a tired looking squad, put them on his back and tried to will a win. With as poorly as the team shot, it's a miracle they didn't get blown out....

It'll be interesting to see how the old guys handle the quick turn-around as well as how it affects Bynum. They are a much weaker team when he's not dictating things in the middle.

Rondo has to control the show tonight. Run when you can and create. There's no one on the Lakers that can handle him in the open court including Kobi. BUT, he's gotta do it when and where it makes sense. Turnovers are a killer and LA is too good to give free possessions too.

Should be a great game.

I am trying my damdest to ignore this series...ever since the Sonics tried to hold Seattle hostage. I was one of those season ticket holders that had to drive an extra 50 miles to the games while the last renovation was done, only 10 years ago...the Pro game turned sour for me to watch.

That being said - gotta cheer for the best pure shooter in the game (Ray Allen!), and the hardest worker (Paul Pierce). Go Green!!!!

JERRY2KONE 06.15.2010 05:39 PM

Looks like

Looks like a majority Celtic bunch here. It is 0630 here in Korea and the game starts at 0900 so I am looking forward to seeing the game. Kobe did an interview and was asked if he thought his team would pull together and get the two wins at home, and his response was a shamefull "NO".

sweetride4me 06.15.2010 07:03 PM

Go Celtics first off ... second the team with the most rebounds has won each game including game 5 (Celts 35 boards, Lakers 34  ) Celts have been a great road team all year and aslong as we split AGAIN in LA we'll win  Go green!!!!!

JERRY2KONE 06.15.2010 10:25 PM

Terrible 1st half.

Well from the looks of things there will surely be a game 7. The first half looked like a slaughter. A 20 point advantage going into the 3rd period is not the way for Boston to win a championship. What an aweful first half that was. I doubt they will come back and overcome a 20 point trail on the Lakers home court, but we shall see. Terrible disapointment.

Oh man!
3 minutes left, 86-62 Lakers with 3:38 left in the 4th Quarter.
I think Lakers finally stepped their game up.

Daddydancool 06.16.2010 12:04 AM

game 7!!!

JERRY2KONE 06.16.2010 12:56 AM

Pathetic

That was a pathetic performance for the Celtics. Game 7 Friday night, or Saturday morning for us here in Asia. I sure hope that Boston comes back to life in game 7 so the show is worth watching. That was just aweful.

rawfuls 06.16.2010 01:01 AM

What are you talking about!?

It was a GREAT performance by the Celtics!

FOR THE LAKERS

rawfuls 06.17.2010 10:47 PM

This is lame!
49-39 3rd quarter with 7 minutes to go, LAKERS NEED TO STEP IT UPP

What's_nitro? 06.17.2010 10:50 PM

GO Celtics!!!!!!!!!!! :yipi:

Finnster 06.17.2010 11:09 PM

I don't like basketball, don't watch it, could name maybe 5 players...

but what I do know is I don't like the Lakers, Kobe seems a total douche, and Phil Jackson acts like a JO, and I hope the Celtics win. Go Green! :p

JThiessen 06.17.2010 11:32 PM

I'll say this now - the Lakers better feel damn lucky tonight. If Ray Allen would have hit even Shaq's free throw percentage from the field tonight, it would have been a 20 point blowout.

Entertaining game though. Doesn't matter which side you are cheering for, its been frustrating offensivley. Like how the ref's are staying out of it.

JERRY2KONE 06.18.2010 01:31 AM

Its over.

Well the game is over and the Lackers are the Champs once again. It was a good close game, but the Celtics choked in the 4th QTR. Even kobe was off the mark tonight and they still won. The whole game was a very good defensive type of game on both sides. Entertaining for sure, but I am sad that the Lackers took the Championship. Oh well.

True, but the Lakers weren't doing much better on the line. It was definitely a sad offensive night for both teams. Anyone who took the over must have been kicking themselves in the a$$ last night....

On a side note.... I love what Kobe said after the game. When asked by a reporter how he felt about ring #5, and Kobe replies.... "Its one more than Shaq. And you can take that to the bank". Awesome.... eat it Shaq!

Oh and of course no Lakers victory would be complete without the post game bon fires, assaults, lootings, and other various forms of Angeleno shenanigans going on. Gotta love L.A.

Go Lake Show!

anthony213 06.21.2010 11:41 PM

quit hating

dammmmnnn , whats up with all the hating going on right here ? you all should have known the LAKERS would win it :yipi: . and thats right , kobe has 1 more than shaq ! the winningest team in the leagues history , the L.A. LAKERS , the lake show baby ....

Daddydancool 06.22.2010 07:36 AM

the best team won, that's it :D
