Different country and different culture, Im a smoker myself and I still think thats horrid!

Finnster 07.10.2010 08:24 PM

I thought smoking was supposed to make you thin?

PBO 07.10.2010 08:33 PM

Those wacky Indonesians!!

If you want shock value, you should see the mental health program in Indo...

magman 07.10.2010 10:15 PM

Wow..I'd though that I had seen a lot...but I guess not.

That is just plain wrong IMO...the kid throws a tantrum if he doesn't get his fix WTF is that! Not to mention he is way over weight. Absolutely disgraceful.

lincpimp 07.10.2010 10:30 PM

Sweet, population control!!!!

I can imagine it will stunt his growth, if he even makes it to puberty with 4 packs a day. Good stuff, natural selection. The kid that eats lead paint and plays in the street does not grow up to make kids of his own.

Makes me smile, I can imagine I have double the IQ of his parents. I guess that they do not care, probably have 2 dozen kids and would be thankful for a few less. Most likely have no idea what "causes" children anyway....

I am such a humanitarian... Bear with me guys.

slimthelineman 07.11.2010 11:36 AM

Wow that's really sad. Although linc has an interesting point it's still a child, which are dependant on their parents for survival. Different countries have different social systems different from ours with different rules and customs which may seem strange. But in this day and age everyone knows smoking is bad for your health as an adult much less a small child. Either parents that really don't care that much or a sad attempt for their 15 minutes at the price of possibly seriously harming or killing their child. Seems to be a trend here on television to exploit your children to get rich. Sad really to see mankind spiral out of control and degenerate this way all over again.

The first video, I would immediately have that thing uthenized.

suicideneil 07.11.2010 06:08 PM

Hmm, some of the 'nasty' videos I've seen regarding the treatment of children and adults in different countries is quite shocking really, making a young child smoke is pretty low though. That said, anyone seen the video of the young kid in America who thought he was getting an xbox for xmas, but inside the box were just clothes? That kind of mental abuse & the way the adults laughed at the poor kids reaction ( you could see he was devastated ) was just disgusting; makes you stop and think really- parents at home & abroad often have no idea how to raise a child properly to make sure it doesnt grow up resenting them and every other living thing in the world...

Bondonutz 07.11.2010 06:24 PM

I think it's really funny, My parents pulled the same kind of shiz when was a kid.
Just help's prepare him for dissapointments later in life.

suicideneil 07.11.2010 06:43 PM

...

Did your parents lock you in a cage and feed you dogfood too? Context is everything, but being cruel to your own children isnt exactly the best way to prepare them for adulthood... :/

Easy Tiger !

Dog food, No. Cat food, Yes.
I dont remember it because I was very young but my older siblings told me storys of them tormenting me with the cats food.
I turned out OK ? Depending whom you ask ?

I never condoned the cruel joke, I just said it was funny.

rabosi 07.11.2010 07:46 PM

I usually find humor in many things other people do not, but that Xbox joke was pretty mean. If that's the way you teach a child about disappointment in life then you can't be surprised when the stab you in the neck while you are sleeping.

rchippie 07.11.2010 09:58 PM

I personally thought the Xbox prank was funny.

Finnster 07.11.2010 09:59 PM

It would be funny if they did it, and then actually had an xbox somewhere else to give after. To do that, then tell him he's too poor to have an xbox is a grade A D-move

I would agree with this. I was wating for them to give him a xbox. I did not hear to to poor comment. I also think his parents did the right thing by giving him cloths instead of a xbox.

mistercrash 07.11.2010 11:33 PM

Come here son, I'm going to teach you how fun it is to laugh at other people's misfortune. I'm going to show you it's fun to ridicule them and make them feel small, kick 'em when they're down. And you'll learn that it's particularly funny when it's your own children you're doing it to.

What a great lesson that kid just learned. Wait! What was the lesson exactly? Not sure what was the point of all this. At least the kid was happy for a couple seconds, while he was unwrapping the box. I just hope he has the strength and determination to stay in school and make a good future for himself, so he can move out and break free of those heartless idiots he has for a family.

lincpimp 07.12.2010 11:27 PM

The tard dog was really funny. The kid with the faux xbox was great. Good stuff. My parents used to ridicule me quite a bit, and give me a hard time when I did something stupid. They also laughed at me when I fell down, and generally gave me a hard time. I still love them, but I get my own back now, as they are older and IO am much fast with my comebacks and witty observations. The way they treated me when I was young kept me on my toes, made me sharp, mentally. Worth it if you ask me, last thing you want to be is a dumbass who is never challenged. At least my parents would praise me when I got something right, and I always knew they were paying attention when they were poking fun at me.

lincpimp 07.12.2010 11:31 PM

I wished I had taken the time to elaborate in earlier posts but my growing up experience was much the same as yours James. Loving Parents who might of did things a bit different than the norm but they were def on the right track weither I knew it or not. I have no regrets.

The explodeing cat ?

Finnster 07.13.2010 05:42 PM

I grew up in a really large extended family, and many of my cousins who were quite a bit older, and all of them talked a bunch of shiz. They would always give my brother and I a lot of crap, and we got really good at dishing it back too, so I know what you mean Linc and Bondo. My mom and my aunts and uncles could lay it down good too.

OTOH, I think what they did to the kid went over the top and just got mean. Its a bit of a fine line, but you don't want to beat down a kid and make him feel bad for just who he is. Esp when its your moms laughing at you. There's a point when it goes from sharp edged humor to tearing someone down to feel like the piece of crap you are. That seemed the later. Hey, maybe if they didn't tear each quite so harshly, they wouldn't be such losers they can't even afford an xbox.

Hard to explain, and its a kinda subjective, but like I said, it would have been funny to me if he did get the xbox or something in the end.

This prank is funnier IMO:

Poor little feller probably looks like he heard a good joke and shoots milk out of his nose.

The dog in the vid has rabies, I'm sure of it.
