Big daddy lincpimp

Hey everyone James is now a proud father of a little baby girl. Can you imagine? Hey James will she call you THE PIMP? Congrats James on your best accomplishment yet. I want to wish you and your wife all the best. This is one learning experience you cannot avoid or cercomvent, so dive right on in and have fun old man. We have eight and I can tell you that it is never easy, not always fun, but can be one of the most rewarding things you will ever experience. Good luck with fatherhood and keeping the wife happy. Remember she is always right, no matter what. Just knod your head and say yes dear. Like you said what you do at work, she does not really care about, so have fun there whenever you can. That is your MAN CAVE.

Sincerely, Jerry Hill & family Prague, Czech Republic.

Yea scary thought isn't it? The Pimp with child. No wonder he has been somewhat quiet around here lately. We can only imagine how she will turn out living with him for 18 years. I bet she will know how to wheel an R/C vehicle to victory, and more than likely do some great color matching for body work.

pinkpanda3310 03.02.2011 07:58 AM

YEAH! Congrats Linc  Being a little girl I don't think 'Missinglinc' fits anymore. I have three little monst-- ahh, I mean darling little girls. Make the most of the spare time you have now because you will only get busier. I think Arct1k foresees unfinished builds:na:

bigsteel 03.02.2011 09:40 AM

Congrats linc!

magman 03.02.2011 09:57 AM

Congrads James. Glad to hear of your new addition to the family. Being a father myself it is a life changing experience to say the least. My daughter is almost a teenager now...how time flies, you will be amazed at how time now accelerates due to having a child.

I wish you and your family nothing but the best.

mistercrash 03.02.2011 10:12 AM

Congrats Linc. This will probably become the most frustrating and also the most rewarding adventure of your life. And remember that kids don't understand sarcasm until they are 8 or 9. Before you know it, she will start talking, and then child services will knock at your door because the sweet darling will say to all your neighbors ''Daddy is my pimp''. Now try to get some sleep, you're gonna need it.

DrKnow65 03.02.2011 10:36 AM

Hopefully he'll finish this project and not have a pile more before the first one is completed LOL!

Congrats :-)

I have 5... Girl, boy, girl, boy, girl.

Remember, it's all fun and games until there's a dirtly diaper while the wife is away :-)

TexasSP 03.02.2011 11:03 AM

Congrats James on the new addition. There is nothing like it on earth and welcome to the biggest change in your life ever!

Now you better hurry with the 6x6 projects so she has something to ride and play on soon!

Many thanks all!!! I appreciate the kind (and other) words. I was wating to get some pics back so I could post them, but the cat is out of the bag now.

I can see where this is fun, but it is also alot of work. Luckily for me the wife has taken charge and does most of the stuff. I just try to clean up when I am at home.

I only plan to have 1 kid. I could not imagine trying to keep up with 5 of them... That is scary. Changing diapers is fine, that does not bother me at all.

DrKnow65 03.02.2011 11:41 AM

:-) I didn't plan on 5 :-) but 1's not enough, two will keep themselves busy...
I would have stopped at 4 but we had a real "enlightening" experience with the doc who was going to do the snipping. Held my nads in the palm of his hand while he was explaining the procedure long enough to make my wife look at him sideways LOL.
So we opted to let her do it after she had #5...

Made it through all 5 on 1 diaper change :-)

snellemin 03.02.2011 11:43 AM

Congrats to the Misses and you James!!

I've got two little girls and I cant get them insterested in R/C anything. They just look at me funny when I take my trucks and airplanes out. I dont know where I went wrong. Maybe you will have better luck than me and can pass down all that knowledge you've acquired. Congrats!!!

Don't worry about that, they will eventually like the hobby! My dad had 2 Tamiya's when I was born, it never interested me much. Till I was about 12/13, I took that old Tamiya and drove a few batts. Right now, 5 years later, I love the hobby, spent far too much $$ on it and I'm buildig my own E-Bike with RC-Car components.

Anyway, congrats James! :yipi:

BrianG 03.02.2011 02:51 PM

Wow, congrats James!

PBO 03.02.2011 05:10 PM

So the big day has finally arrived!! a moment in time you will never forget but the amazing memories will be added to - often

Congratulations!

asheck 03.02.2011 05:47 PM

Congrats. May she grow up healthy, and join a convent at the age of 13.

BrianG 03.02.2011 06:11 PM

I have a boy (now almost 13yrs) and a girl (2yrs), and the differences are night and day. No matter how mad she makes you, it won't last long. She'll always be your little princess. I keep telling my wife that my girl won't be dating until she is 25 years old, or I'm dead, whichever comes first because I remember what I was like in my teens/early 20's. :oh:

lincpimp 03.02.2011 06:15 PM

Man, you guys are too nice! Thanks!!

Yeah, I can already see her bringing home some emo looking kid... I guess I will cleaning my gun collection alot in about 15yrs or so... Hopefully she will take after me and not get in a bunch of trouble. Or take after her mother and I can get an ajoining burial plot with you Brian.

It will be sooner than 15yrs, I noticed about a yr ago that guys (not boys) are checking out my daughter and she is only 13 1/2 right now!

And it may be time to find some new lady parts James, babies have a tendency to distort and manipulate the old lady parts when they are born

rabosi 03.02.2011 08:11 PM

Congratulations James!! Good luck with the baby girl.

TexasSP 03.02.2011 08:42 PM

What the heck are you guys smoking, my buddy has to beat the little 9 year old boys going after his 7 year old daughter. You'll be lucky to make it 15 1/2 years.......

aqwut 03.03.2011 12:03 AM

Congratulations dude!! Is the baby brushless? And Lipo Powered?.. :)

_paralyzed_ 03.03.2011 12:05 AM

its the growth hormones to make chicken breasts bigger. Turns out it's not completely metabolized and young females are developing earlier and bigger.

I think she is nitro powered, she leaves a horrible smell, is really noisy and if you are not careful she gets nasty sticky mess everywhere. And I have not found an off switch either. Only time she is quiet is when you are filling her up!

Sounds like you had a hand in this. You do have considerable experince with chickens, namely choking them...

I worked at a chicken farm. If you've never played chicken baseball, you haven't lived.

If you haven't shot a pissed off rooster with a S&W 500 you haven't lived...

And you also have not lived unless you have emptied a saiga 12 with a 20rd drum of buckshot into a lifesize campaign poster of you know who...as fast as you can!

_paralyzed_ 03.03.2011 03:57 AM

i tied a chicken to an electric fence wire once. electric fences aren't "always hot", they pulse the electric shock.

So, in between pulses it was a chicken tied to a wire. But when it pulsed the chicken flew up to the length of the wire. It would land, ground itself and fly up again. Hours of fun.

Another fun thing was to grab city friends and then the fence. I wouldn't get shocked but they would. It grounded through them.

I miss simple farm life...

E-Revonut 03.03.2011 11:53 AM

Congrats Linc! I'm looking forward to having a family of my own someday, until then I get to spoil my niece. Having a little girl is a catch 22, girls are less likely to get in to trouble but are likely to bring home trouble. Definitely make sure to keep up on that gun collection, a 12 gauge pump is the perfect deterent for any situation, wether it be a thief or a teenage boy
