Please more 1400 options. Any plans for?

I would really love to see a 3000kv 1412 . I think there's just to big of gap between the 3800 and 2400. I would also like to see a low enough KV in the 1406 to make it plausible for a 4s setup.

So are there plans for this stuff, and I just missed it, or are we just getting what we got, be happy we got that.

I hope there are more options coming.

Great looking line of motors. I just find it hard to have confidence in a 1/8" shaft to deliver the power these motors make.

5mm shaft option please.

DrKnow65 04.19.2011 09:03 PM

5mm is a must...

That being said, I would just be happy if Castle kept the full Neu line in stock for immediate shipping :-)

I'm putting in an order for a 1110 and a 1410 this week... Buy Neu's and the variety of KV's are there.

A 1412 1y might not be to bad at 2750kv, but it's more then the whole 1415 mmp combo. Castle is now a victim of it's own success :)

I personally want to see a 2400 kv in A 1406 OR 1410, I love lower kv for ease of gearing, heat control and efficiency

brainanator 04.22.2011 11:33 PM

5mm shaft would be amazing....

More options coming... but right now we are having difficulty keeping up with the demand for the 1410 and 1406 motors.

Look for new options in about eight weeks.

Thanx!

Patrick

I would love to see an 1412 with the same KV as the 1410 1Y

Well, a 1412 1Y would have a KV of 3200, not 3800.

snellemin 04.25.2011 02:39 PM

5mm shaft options please, even for the 1406.

This is whats great.

This is whats great about a company that turns out a GOOD product plain and simple. How many companies of any kind right now in these tough economic times can say that they are having a tough time keeping up with the high demand of the market? That is way cool Patrick. Oh yea I bet Maxamps is having this problem, yea right!!!! Keep up the good work and keep the dream alive CC. You found a niche and there is money to be made here. Congratulations CC.

brainanator 04.25.2011 03:59 PM

Good to hear Pat! I wish your business future good selling! and if keep coming out with awesome new products like these you'll do great, the motors are all the talk around all the forums I visit, EVERYONE recommends them for everything, haha.

Lipos

Hey Patrick since things are going so well in the Motor & ESC business, why don't you guys think about expanding your business and getting into the Lipo business. Hell if Maxamps can do it out of their household garage and make a profit then CC should be able to get in there and make a killing creating a fair priced competitive line of Lipo's to ride right along side of the rest of your gear. With the reputation that you have already put in place with the CC name, I would be willing to bet that those same customers would put their hard earned money into your battery packs as well. One stop shopping for the best R/C electronics on the market. Plus you can create some new jobs to help out the job market. Call it the ANTI Obama initiative. Don't you think so fellas?

Put together a good line of Lipo's, do it with the already sound customer service you now have, and give us a fair price and you can corner a fair precentage of the market right out of the gate. If all MA had to do was put a pretty sticker on their heatshrink wraps working out of mom's garage:gasp:, then a company like CC should be able to do a whole lot better:intello:. Just a thought....

BrianG 04.25.2011 05:35 PM

I'm actually surprised CC hasn't gone into the ebike/EV market yet. I'd like to see an ESC CC could come up with when they aren't limited by R/C size/weight constraints.

snellemin 04.25.2011 05:40 PM

Me too. Ebike/EV stuff would be killer. Builtin datalogging, output for LCD screens. Accessing/changing ESC parameters with two buttons on the fly, built in safety limiters, blablalbla...I meant ETC.

JERRY2KONE 04.25.2011 06:45 PM

Hell yea.

Hell I did not even think of this until after I posted the last one, but with you guys already having a CC factory setup in China it would be pretty easy to open a branch in that facility and easily put together a Lipo specific section. You could either purchase already made cells and just fab R/C ready packs like most or you could even start from scratch and make your own cells. I would think that this would be a no brainer for your already established electonics business. So Patrick how about some thougths on this?

All right. Thank you much for the reply. I'll take that 1412 1y, 3200 sounds pretty good.

Well guys, I guess if we would have left the positive reviews to ourselves we would have them sooner. So from now on the word on the street is these are terrible motors :)

crazyjr 04.26.2011 09:53 AM

I think the 1/8 shaft would be ok for me, I'll never use them for more than a 1/10 scale 2wd or 4wd buggy/ truck
