this monster is a great and powerful truck!
shocks and suspension are great, and have a great build cvd´s, diff´s and chassis!
i am running it on a single 3s lipo with my novak 5.5hv with 19 pinion and it screams, i just can imagine how it would run on 4s!!
note that motor is centered on the fornt of the truck giving it a great steering and handling!!

greetings and hope you guy´s enjoy this more rare ride!!

TexasSP 08.04.2011 03:18 PM

Interesting. Kind of looks like the love child of a stampede 4x4 and an e-revo.

Curious to learn more about it. Never even heard of team magic myself.

timaneli 08.04.2011 05:23 PM

i buy it on a german ebay store but i can get spares here in portugal!

this rtr brushed version cost me 320 euros that´s a bargain for a big, strong and powerful monster.
more strong than my previous e-maxx.

It appears to be based in Australia.

This Truck looks really good. It's a shame there isn't any for sale in the US.

It comes with many features that are considered upgrades on the Traxxas Line.

They're manufactured in Taiwan & HEI is the main distributor

I will sale my Thunder tiger Mt4 G3 for the E6 brushless, what did we think ?

el tomaso 01.03.2012 03:09 AM

Why? The MTA-4 is way better IMO.

I don't like the steering on the MT4 G3, take too much place for turning and it too difficult for made a 360 (donut).

Like PBO said, they are Taiwan based company. They do have some decent cars but nothing spectacular. Also they do indeed sell them in US. http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...rooper&x=4&y=8

Biggest problem with Team Magic in Australia is parts support. My friend tried racing a TM car one year (GP on road) and had to miss races because he couldn't get parts. Once he even bought another whole car just for the front CVDs and one suspension arm. Was a real pain for him but me being a basher I guess I could wait till parts arrive. That is if they are stocked well anywhere.

Truck looks OK but I will wait till there is a bit more info about them from owners. There is also suppose to be a kit version coming out soon (according to TM site) which I would much rather prefer. I wonder if the brushed version has exactly the same drive train as the brushless one? Would much rather buy that and fit my own electrics.

I am not sure if I would put the E6 up against the MT4 G3. I think that MT4 still has the upper hand. I love having a CD in a truck and it is built pretty tough. Still no harm in owning a E6 too.

The brushed version are not the same : shock tower 4mm vs 5mm for E6, hardened diff for brushed vs CNC hardened diff, motor mount 4mm brushed vs 5mm E6.

Amainhobbie have the truck for sale but no spare part and no store in USA and Canada have part, after that, i have the idea to call the distributor of team magic in Europe and less than 24 hour i receive a message with link for spare part rcshopping and he will talk to amainhobbie for sale line (spare part) !

Hi Samuel ,

Thanks for your mail .

We will check with A Main Hobbies if they will put the parts on their sales line.
And if you need the parts urgent, you could try order them from RC Shopping first.

Hey guys, I am looking at the brushed manual. The esc has no lipo cut-off, but the transmission has a locker in it. Possibly for a center diff

check it out;
http://www.teammagic.com.tw/Pic/PTSu...NH8WRO0052.pdf

shows the bottom gear assembled similar to the diffs.

I am liking this truck, I'm a revo guy. Without a stable diff solution, for the high powered setups, this might be my next MT

BIG-block 01.05.2012 11:37 AM

Saw the E6 Trooper today in the flesh for the first time. I have to say I was very surprised at the size of it. Looked very much like a 1/10th scale. Actually I think it was a fair bit smaller than the Revo. Suspension arms looked reasonably strong but the steering/toe links looked very thin. I guess since the truck is on the small and light side (yeah, it was pretty light too) that might not be an issue. The guys said has beaten the heck out of it and hasn't broken a thing yet other than blowing a couple tires off the wheels under acceleration.

I guess the smaller size and lighter weight can be of a real benefit if you were to race. I am sure it would a pretty nimble truck just like youtube vid shows.
Having a 1/8th drivetrain with metal CVD's at all corners is great thing too. Proper 17mm hexes (not like the crap on the Savage or the Revo), shock towers looked thick and beefy alloy as did the motor mount. Battery trays look like they could accommodate decent size packs as well. Shocks, although they had plastic bodies there were no signs of any fluid leaking from them and the owner has had more than 15 runs on the truck. Not bad considering my Savage Flux plastic shocks leaked before I even ran the truck.

Over all I couldn't really see anything too negative other than the smaller than expected size. Might be a plus for some but I like bigger and beefier looking trucks. My MT4 and Savage Flux completely dwarf the E6. The only thing the owner complained about were the tires. He said they were crap and didn't last long at all before they tore up. For me that spells a decent RC. Might have to add the E6 to the collection.

OT to the thread, but an upgraded servo will cure that problem, most likely. The MT4 is sold with an underpowered servo. Probably the only weak spot.

I like the look of the OP's truck. It looks like a Revo and a Flux hooked up one night.

If Big Block thinks it is a winner, I would be willing to give it a spin. I worry about parts support here in the US, though.

crazyjr 03.27.2012 10:30 PM

Hey guys, I found out the TM truck is also being sold as the Robotronic Hurricane.

Thanks for the good news, I been taking a hard look at this truck, as a replacement for the revo. I love the revo design, but shortcomings of the drivetrain keep me from really pushing it. The 1/8 drivetrain, with revo like suspension and transmission, and near losi sized shocks, make this the possible front runner in the design evolution of MT right now. Makes sense, since it's the latest in the field
