Its complete! Thanks Mike for all the help.

RC-Monster Mike 03.26.2005 01:52 AM

Can someone say...ghetto!:) I wonder if the removal of the anno played a part inthe seemingly loose fitting backplate? The brace will be here soon, so you can sell your stock in rubberbands!;)

RC-Monster Mike 03.26.2005 01:58 AM

Nice vids, by the way.

Rcbros 03.26.2005 02:11 AM

LOL.
I think the anodizing had alittle bit to due with it. however my brothers was very loose as I recall also.
The rubber bands came with the rims so they were *freebies*

Videos could have been better but i couldn't get a chance to actually abuse it

RC-Monster Mike 03.26.2005 09:40 AM

I did notoice that your brothers was loose as well. Eventually, you will get all the bugs out of your truck and you will be able to smash it around quite abusively! I get the feeling that is what you want to do! :)

Sylvester 03.26.2005 09:56 AM

lol, isnt that what everyone wants ?

Sylvester 03.26.2005 07:47 PM

i know, those rims are the best/.

toby 03.26.2005 07:51 PM

decent vids to guys.

Rcbros 03.26.2005 08:00 PM

Yep.
Damage report for yesterday:
2 broken shock ends
2 broken servo savers
1 stripped ilder
2 locked diffs

Fun Fun. Give me about 3-6 more bash runs and it should be a Tank!
Then I can get you guys some bash videos that are worth to watch lol.

Sylvester 03.26.2005 09:21 PM

lol please and thank you, how is the fieago 9L / warrior coming along? i want to also get this combo.

Rcbros 03.26.2005 09:30 PM

Well. Its a power house. The videos I posted are all in first and it seems super fast. (keep forgetting I have second!)
I'm super please with the combo.
Just need to find someone with the HV to race against :P

I'd say get it.

Sylvester 03.26.2005 09:34 PM

thanks rcbros, im also getting deans plugs on it, you are running 14 cells righT? i also saw 3 new vids of yours, nice, how pissed did u get when u had no steering? u just slammed the throttle and flipped and you didnt seem to care too much :P

Rcbros 03.26.2005 09:38 PM

well I was cranky because I manually fixed the steering servo and then it popped out in like 3 seconds lol.
So I decided to bash anyways. Watch out for the puddle! lol.
Then I stripped the idler and diff cases locked. Wasn't sure what happened at the time. Put in the truck in the car without looking at it and went home.. Then it sat there for about 5 hours lol until I decided to see what had happened.

Yes I run Deans and 14 cells.

Any suggestion on a servo saver? I just got an aluminum steering kit so the plastic ones on the servo would be best.

Sylvester 03.26.2005 09:40 PM

wow! thats crazy, if that were my truck i wouldnt drive it until it fixed itself LOL, if you dont mind me asking , what gearing are you using?

Rcbros 03.26.2005 09:47 PM

Mike? Can you help me on this one? LOL
Stock spur and the the the the ummm...... Wow I can't think of how many teeth i'm running.

Mike which one did you sell me?

Sylvester 03.26.2005 09:49 PM

LOL, thats ok, when do you think your truck will be up and runninG?

toby 03.26.2005 09:52 PM

i like it. i love them rims but am planning on getting my own made at a machine shop cause it is hard to find the perfect rims

MaxxFusion 03.26.2005 09:52 PM

Get the Proline Steering Kit on Ebay for $35. I just got one and started putting it together tonight. I am impressed with it.

Rcbros 03.26.2005 09:53 PM

Well. I'd like to say soon. but I live in the boon docks of oregon. So no LHS that I can go too.

Plus I just bought two motor braces from Mike. So I'm thinking 1-2 weeks. Maybe soon.

Rcbros 03.26.2005 10:08 PM

Woops just saw the steering kit post.
I would like to but I just bought the aluminum kit with bearings so a plastic one that goes on the servo would be best.

MaxxFusion 03.27.2005 12:18 AM

Actually I did the same thing. I bought the all aluminum bellcrank with bearings as well. I talked to Mike and he said that the Proline kit is worth it. My goal was to eliminate all black plastic but if this kit is as good as everyone says it is then I will have to go with it. Everyone I have talked to has nothing but good things to say about it. If you are dead set on staying with what you have then I would go with a Kimbrough saver. Mike has some in the store here.

Rcbros 03.27.2005 12:27 AM

I'll have to check it out. Thanks
Money's short so I want to keep to the cheapos for now lol. Plus black yukie! lol

Rcbros 03.27.2005 12:29 AM

Just checked the servo saver out on Rc-monster. Looks like I'll have to buy one or two. but I'm out on cash. Just bought two motor braces lol wish I could combine them with the order but i'm broke.
O'well.
