Mamba Monster Maxx movie!! 18mph with 200LBS load

I was just going thru beatyourtruck, and there is this movie of the Monster-Maxx powered barbie truck..

It was made by Joe from CC.

here is the teaser..

This is very promising guys!! monstermaxx, can't wait to have you in my trucks!!

captain harlock 10.28.2006 04:44 AM

Hey!! It says DUAL Mamba Max and not Monster Max!
Or are you saying that the dual mamba motors are being powered by the Monster Maxx?

Well, if two mamba max are needed to make a Barbie truck with a real person go 18mph, then two Monster Max with this truck and guy might go 40mph easily. Very possible.

squeeforever 10.28.2006 09:43 AM

Yea, Captains right. Its powered by 2 Mamba Max 4600's with 12v 55ah lead acid batteries.

aqwut 10.28.2006 10:25 AM

wow...that's awesome... I want a C.C. powered barbie truck fro Christmas... :)

Nick 10.28.2006 10:55 AM

That was comical brilliance! :D Really fun, nice drifting.

Impressive.

abiye 10.28.2006 11:01 AM

i was at the ihobbyexpo in chicago and they brought a dual mamba powered cadilac excalade power wheels cars... a little cooler than a barbie jeep:017:

squeeforever 10.28.2006 11:10 AM

Yea, I saw the video of them jumping it....Just can't remember were I saw it...

captain harlock 10.28.2006 12:07 PM

Was it the Monster Max which is powering the motors or the Mamba Max?

squeeforever 10.28.2006 12:10 PM

It said 2 Mamba Max 4600 systems.

captain harlock 10.28.2006 12:15 PM

Yeah, right.

aqwut 10.28.2006 02:07 PM

that's probably one of the funniest things I've seen... well.. with my ancient dual brushless ss5800... I use to push my little nieces and nephews around on the smooth hardwood floor.... and those 2 mamba max motors are almost 1400 watts together right?... or more?

crazyjr 10.28.2006 03:00 PM

on the barbie one it was 2 7700 systems on one Lead acid battery, on the escalade it was 2 4600 systems

Finnster 10.28.2006 03:20 PM

There is another jeep that has 5700s in it.

Serum 10.28.2006 07:51 PM

Look at the filename.

It says monstermaxx.

Nick 10.28.2006 07:55 PM

So twin 5700 on 3s each... hehe, that's where I would go next. :D Maybe some rubber tyres though, lol.

Finnster 10.28.2006 08:17 PM

Its def the mamba max. This was orig posted in the RCZ? forums where CC has an official thread w/ desc. They made these two a while back, and did the escalde for the show.

coolhandcountry 10.28.2006 08:53 PM

I wonder how it do with a 300 lb man on board. :D

crazyjr 10.28.2006 09:46 PM

sorry, I was wrong. The 7700's had 2s lipo's, thought the 12v lead acid battery sounded weird. The escalade did have a lead acid battery with 2 5700's

Then possibly its a two Mamba Max motors with a Monster Max controller?

It could be.

Either way, I'm getting more and more interested in owning one of these controllers.

crazyjr 10.29.2006 02:16 AM

Didn't see monster anywhere on or in the vids

Serum 10.29.2006 02:48 AM

Name of the vid.

Serum 10.29.2006 08:23 AM

No, that's not the movie with them jumping it.

Squee, if you check the link i posted originally, you would have seen two movies, one with the mamba maxx, where they jump it.. and the other one is named monster-maxx. (FILENAME)

aqwut 10.29.2006 09:45 AM

Yeah, I thought it was the monstermaxx too... because of the filename..

Nick 10.29.2006 11:25 AM

Conspiracy. :)

sjcrss 10.29.2006 11:46 AM

makes me wanna drop some in my kids powerwheels....the front end loader and the jeep they have.....boy would they have fun......

captain harlock 10.29.2006 02:01 PM

But how long will a single run last with this much weight?

Serum 10.29.2006 02:04 PM

I am not convinced that it are two motors. I am still having the idea that this is the monstermaxx.

sjcrss 10.29.2006 02:09 PM

yah...my kids trucks have 2 motor in it...one for each rear wheel....

Serum 10.29.2006 02:11 PM

Cool. That would make sence. Movie is too poor to see if one wheel is spinning or if they are both spinning.

Finnster 10.29.2006 02:55 PM

The powerwheels use 2 550 motors for power. The are sometimes used a cheap replacements for titans on the Emaxx.

Official CC threads on the jeeps/esclade. Joe and Shawn list it as Mamba Maxxes (they even say it in vid if you hear, its a bit quiet.)

"2 Mamba Max 7700 systems, 2 Apogee 3800 2 cell lipos, a Barbie Power Wheels Jeep, and a clearly deranged driver."

There's a 3rd thread, but I can't find it. They are all MMaxes

Serum 10.29.2006 02:59 PM

Thanks for clearing that out Finnster!

Finnster 10.29.2006 08:29 PM

Imagine what they could do with a MMMax... has anyone ever broke 50 in a barbie jeep?

:)

glassdoctor 10.29.2006 11:10 PM

The powerwheels have to run two motors... there is one gearbox for each rear wheel.

From the conversations I have had, I don't think they even have a working monster system in the shop... that they would waste time with on a project like this.

I'm pretty sure also that the guys said they were running two MM in these.

Hydrodancer 11.07.2006 01:35 AM

No wonder why its taking so long for the monster max to come out!!! Their all out in the parking lot playing with powerwheels.:030: Oh well, It looks like the mamba max is all i'll need to run 4s anyway.

On a side note. My dad helped me make a truck puller using one of the gear boxes out on my old PW 3 wheeler. It had a solid axle so both whells would spin. If I remember correctly it full pulled over 80 pounds on a SLED with an old trinity monster "something?" motor. Monster mash maybe?
