Nice truck..... I suggest getting those strobe limiters for your shocks, works great ( looks cool too ).... What suspension did you have before?

Superemaxx89 05.05.2005 11:41 PM

Hiya, I've got the same shocks, using 4 also, but whats a strobe limiter?

a strobe limited is a limiter strap made by strobe it prevents the shock from having to much down travel.

makaveli 05.22.2005 08:52 PM

bet that chassis would look sick powdercoated purple to match the motor . hit me up kadillackid96@aol.com

braaap11889 05.22.2005 09:53 PM

to bad he doesnt have the chassis any more and sorry man but I know he doesn't want purple on that truck.

Superemaxx89 05.23.2005 12:16 AM

all silver is killer. but that chassis in black may look cool!

makaveli 05.23.2005 04:28 PM

braaap11889 05.23.2005 07:27 PM

supermaxx4190 05.23.2005 07:59 PM

Isaac you have been hanging out with james brady to much.

Nick 05.24.2005 01:32 PM

What B/L setup is that? Anygood? Bet its fast.

Serum 05.24.2005 02:30 PM

It's a feigao 10L motor with a warrior 9918 controller.. Darn right it's fast! on 16 cells it can push the truck around at 45 mph..

Nick 05.24.2005 02:39 PM

I'm really intrested in the 10L but only able to have 14 cells flat on my chassis I'm scared if I have 16 using a hump they might fall out. :(

Need to find a good way of holding them down.

RC-Monster Mike 05.24.2005 03:04 PM

14 cells with a 9L is no slouch in the speed/power department. Perhaps this is something to consider?

Nick 05.24.2005 03:10 PM

Something I am considering and probably is what I will get.

With twin Titans you literally wet yourself when you see the cells drop out at 25mph and I don't want to see it happening at 35mph+.

Try 50 something with his gearing. I have seen that thing run and its just insane the gearing is so high yet it still lauching like a bat out of h3ll. That thing has to be pushing around 55 mph no BSing here. With a broke revo tire this thing can cyclone until the batteries die it actually started to dig a hole in his uncles dirt driveway. It probably got about half an inch deep that was only with 3 tires and rims to. One of my velo rims (running velo and bowties up front) ripped off from the pressure and just rolled away lol it was awesome. He kept going too.

supermaxx4190 05.24.2005 07:49 PM

it may be fast, but the highest gearing i have run is equal to stock gearing (18/66). I dont know if its 50mph, but its pretty hard to handle on the road. It did cogg alot with the 18/66 gearing, i think it may have had something to do with the ESC?? should it cog alot with 18/66 gearing? the esc never got above 120*.

Serum 05.25.2005 02:24 AM

What do you use to feed the receiver 6 volts?

Dafni 05.25.2005 06:34 AM

for racing, you might want something like this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ee/9918fan.jpg

Nick 05.25.2005 06:36 AM

What is that Dafni?

Like the periodic table by the way. :)

Dafni 05.25.2005 06:49 AM

It's one of my 9918 :D With dual fan mod.
We already talked about it here:
http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...=&threadid=475

btw, the fans are also BL :L: So my Revo is Triple BL:p

Sorry for the Hijack, but I think a fan on the ESC is a good idea for those long racing days.

RC-Monster Mike 05.25.2005 06:53 AM

I agree, Daf. A fan on the motor is a good idea as well for the long days.

braaap11889 05.25.2005 04:55 PM

I know he bought a few fans (75) dunno if he has paid for them yet though.

Superemaxx89 05.25.2005 07:20 PM

i have a box that is made to hold 2 fans (one to suck air in, the other to suck air out) and it clamps the esc to the chassis!

RC-Monster Mike 05.25.2005 07:35 PM

Well...where is the picture?
