Sylvester 02.06.2007 10:12 AM

New designed chassis for emaxx/revo, g3 arms, probably some new skids, we'll have to wait and see.

renny 02.06.2007 11:18 AM

I`m not big on waiting......HURRY UP!!!!

mini-mad 02.06.2007 01:17 PM

Sylvester 02.06.2007 01:22 PM

I wonder how the pricing will be.

jnev 02.06.2007 01:37 PM

Hopefully it wont be too much more than what the previous parts were.

jhautz 02.06.2007 01:53 PM

Wonder if the slipperential will fit the ''new'' gmaxx chassis braces. I heard they were thicker.

squeeforever 02.06.2007 09:33 PM

I know what the new products are gonna be. :p Perks of being a mod. :D

BP-Revo 02.06.2007 09:59 PM

I know some of them too...perks of having a broken truck? I'd take the working truck before I took this though...

squeeforever 02.06.2007 10:13 PM

All I hope is parts become available in purple again...

BP-Revo 02.06.2007 10:30 PM

They were available in purple? :032:

Yup. The G1 chassis was, the G1 motor mount, the G1 suspension (well, the shock towers were...to be honest thats the only G1 suspension I have ever seen).

coolhandcountry 02.06.2007 11:41 PM

there is may options they could do.

BlackedOutREVO 02.07.2007 01:41 AM

man cory.. tell us u know so we have to really wonder lol.... i just hope its something awsome as always..

neweuser 02.07.2007 12:32 PM

I would think the pricing may be a tad higher as they are going to be new versions and beefier as well. All the new parts should be interchangable with the old, or at least the top and rear plates, not sure about the lower plates though.

Serum 02.07.2007 01:15 PM

I think i know what might change;

the lower plates are made for 3300's. the newer cells are larger in diameter, not to mention lipo. the gmaxx strap sucks IMO. they rip if you use as advised.

if George is smart (and he is) he will make a new battery mount, suitable for lipo's as well.

I use two of the straps to make them work with security, on each side...LOL

Serum 02.07.2007 01:38 PM

Yep, i know there are work arounds.. that's why i said 'they rip if you use as advised.' but still, it is a poor design. the 1" wide version lasted exactly 4 minutes before they got torn.. I am not too keen on them, and with lipo's they are no good either.

LOL, this is true!

suicideneil 02.07.2007 03:29 PM

Would be cool if they offered bulkheads too, so you can build a totally Gmaxx truck. Personally I just need a suspension kit and will order that when the sites open again. That, and I need my order of FLM bulks from 2coolrc, if they ever turn up.....

Serum 02.07.2007 03:34 PM

You could have got the FLM bulks thru Mike as well..

Yeah, I realised that afterwards- less haste more speed in future with regards to my ordering habits...

I was just going to say the same thing, get them thru Mike.

suicideneil 02.07.2007 04:07 PM

Thankyou for rubbing it in. I should have got them here at the same time as the chassis & extension, but I think they were out of stock at the time- it pays however to stick with familiar people/places. I ordered from here before (steel idlers) ages ago but they turned up real quick considering the overseas posting delay and customs etc. I will give 2coolrc until monday and if I dont see anything on my doormat then it would have been 3 weeks or more since I placed the order- they will get a nice email question regarding the delivery, and if that dont help, the nice people at MINT will be paying for some replacements. Off topic slightly, but has anyone had trouble with RC4WD? Of course you have; my version 3 replacement punisher shafts were finally posted just before xmas, but they are still outstanding ( I dont even have the TXT-1 anymore so they will be going on ebay as soon as they arrive, if they arrive that is....). Its all good fun.

Not really rubbing it man, sorry. LOL, well, customs can hold things up to from what I hear. I once bought a strobe slipper from a guy in Canada, ti took 1.5 months to get to me....and that is just crossing the border! I can't imagine what you over seas guys do!
But, Mike is a great guy to deal with! If you know some one that you usually order from, that's cool, but I would suggest getting to know Mike, he is the greatest guy out there!

suicideneil 02.07.2007 04:21 PM

Cool. Customs usually arent too bad though, its just the expensive stuff that causes problems. Parcelforce like to add a £13 'clearance fee' onto the £10-15 VAT that the government already adds before I can get my stuff, yet other times I get expensive stuff from overseas and it hits my doormat 10 days later with no extra charges.... weird, non? I guess its one of those things that we all have to suffer occasionally for our 'art'.... hehehe. Cant wait until the new Gorillamaxx stuff is out though, I'll be counting down the days.

neweuser 02.07.2007 04:27 PM

that's rubbish man (as serum woud say), anything to make a buck!

jollyjumper 02.07.2007 04:37 PM

from what i hear is this:
if they send it with the postal service it'll get held by customs.
if they send via fed-ex, ups,... they dont.
is it like that?

Serum 02.07.2007 04:38 PM

Yeh, Plain rubbish to be more precise.. customs are in it for a quick buck..

but it's not the customs, it's most likely postal fee..

our post-boys found out that trick too.. they charge us for 15 euro's of 'administration fee' back in the days it was for free..

Serum 02.07.2007 04:40 PM

UPS is held by customs. i ordered a package from towerhobbies, paying roughly 80 dollars of shipping, and on top of that, i needed to pay another 10 euro of UPS postal fee to the UPS in Holland and on top of that, the normal customs..

Shipping went fast though, it was ordered on Saturday and delivered on Tuesday..

Sylvester 02.07.2007 05:09 PM

I went through something similar with tower.. 65 shipping and import duties 70.. ordered sunday came monday:)

Serum 02.07.2007 05:14 PM

yeah, for us European people it also is an awful lot cheaper to go that route..

neweuser 02.07.2007 05:17 PM

You call that cheap? Man, I want your job and pay! I order from Mike, say, some FLM bulks or something. So figure 144.00 for parts, 5.15 for shipping and see it in 3 days tops. 149.15 in total!
