The GrandMaxx Ph.2. A demon born anew!

This is a link to the thread of the Ph.1, just to make you note the things which've changed between it and the Ph.2:

Type in the search engine the thread's name: My SuperFLMaxx. GrandArk Phase.1

Later( veeeeery soon) I'll post the pics of the 2nd phase.

Stay tuned!

Another set:

Sylvester 02.06.2007 04:58 PM

VERY nice! Where did you get those rims, and what glue did you use to glue them?

captain harlock 02.06.2007 04:58 PM

I really did not want to take pics of the carpet...hahaha:)

Nick 02.06.2007 05:01 PM

Definatly need some under the body pictures. Does it have monoblock too?

Sorry to go on about the carpet but it's like one of those puzzles where you need to stare at it to see the hidden object (E-Maxx), pretty crazy, lol. :)

I'll tell you later. Let me just finish posting the damn pics:

Nick 02.06.2007 05:07 PM

Awesome, does the extra length effect steering at all? As in, monoblock + setback arms?

I'm thinking of Racer-X with set backs but already have Lightning (which is extended) and the monoblock.

Finally, I thought you sold this? Or someone had this before?

You mean Papa?

Anyway:

captain harlock 02.06.2007 05:17 PM

Well, that's about everything.

You have any comments, questions or whatever.....YOU'RE WELCOME!!!!!..:)

captain harlock 02.06.2007 05:19 PM

I havent run the thing yet to see about steering, but as far as I know, the longer the rig is, the weaker the steering is going to be( less sharp).

captain harlock 02.06.2007 05:20 PM

Also, the wheels are from Hardcore Racing. I did not glue them yet. I've just finished the thing yesterday.

Sylvester 02.06.2007 06:10 PM

Once again, NICE! Are you gonna run with aluminum wheels?

captain harlock 02.06.2007 06:19 PM

Not really. I'll get the Maxx velo wheels for bashing. For the time being, I think I'll run it with the aluminum wheels.

Sylvester 02.06.2007 06:22 PM

So what are you gonna run in? Race? Bash? Imo that would be an amazing racer, but would be tooo nice for bashing.

captain harlock 02.06.2007 06:24 PM

I'm a hardcore modeller, a soft basher, so don't expect me to beat it up like a real basher..:)

Sylvester 02.06.2007 06:39 PM

Hehe.. soft bashing huh.. i think your ark can take hard beatings, but it deserves better! :)

jnev 02.06.2007 09:15 PM

:004: :004: :004: :004: :004: x20

That thing is so sweeeeeet!!!

captain harlock 02.06.2007 10:08 PM

Hey! Thanks alot!

BP-Revo 02.06.2007 10:28 PM

Damn that thing looks nice...is that VBS? (I'm 99% sure it is)...

That would be such an awesome race truck, but its so...so...shiny... :004: I would have to fight myself to get that thing dirty! :035:

captain harlock 02.07.2007 02:55 AM

You really might want to beat me up if I tell you that I've spend most of my time polishing this dude instead of tuning it perfectly...:)

sjcrss 02.07.2007 08:23 AM

wow, that is nice, i noticed your running a gmaxx stock rear plate, plus a UE monoblock , and racer x setback arms.....looks killer though, good job....

Mike.L 02.07.2007 09:25 AM

hells yeah!!!! amazing..... thats all

captain harlock 02.07.2007 12:18 PM

captain harlock 02.07.2007 12:31 PM

Those are the typical super shocks with the nova low profile shock towers.

They look shorter! I just bought some Nova's today actually! LOL

captain harlock 02.07.2007 12:37 PM

I've used some limiters on the shock's piston. That's why they're shorter..:)

I see. I just went with a shorter shock that is about the same length as the ig bore shock.
