maximizer pede
for teh maximizer wheeel thig theres not many offset rims out there for the max is there ne non offset rim that works? if not does ne 1 know the rims that would fit on them?
I use the RPM titans rims in "stablemaxx" offset. I also stock these items.
ok perfect i would want them but would you recoment mulchers or bowties ( all surfaces street mud sand grass dirt snow) and will they fit on thes rims ( what iv red they will ) thoes titan slook really cool do you have them in white the dyeable? or just chrome and how much for the titans n how much for the bowties or mulchhers.
Masher 2000 are a great all around tread. The bowties work exceptionally well also, but won't be great in the snow. The mulchers work great everywhere, but they will wear pretty quick on the road. Any of these tires will fit the wheels. The rims are pretty cheap($10+/-/pair), while the tires are a little more ($22+/-/pair).
ok cool what about zombie maxes i herd the were good also but wear down easily on the street the bowties wont wear down considering they got no tred ne ways oh and i have 1 question now on my pede i run nitro fronts n ele fronts on rear n i got berings all around can i still use berings up front bc i got nitro front axles in now n ill have to put the stock 1s back in what will i have to do to get berings in em if its even possible
The maximizer adapters are for nitro trucks, so the nitro front axles are what you need. The zombie maxx tires are nice as well, but I don't know how they wear on the street.
oh ok so what do i gotta do w/ the rear? but ne ways igot like 90 bucks rite now so when i got like 2 sumthing this is what ima get the titan rims a lehner 5300 maxx adapeters n sum tires wich i cant make up my mind with yet i like them all but i want the cheapiest n the best out of Mulchers Or bow ties bowties r chieper so i thik ima go with them
the rear is the same for the electric and nitro, so you are all set. All the tires are about the same price. I run the komodos on my pede. I have or can get any of these tires. I would also go with the 8s motor with full size maxx tires. The little lehner will run pretty hot with these big tires.
:/ hmm i wanted the best /fastest/ motor for 8 cells
8s would be my choice, or a larger basic xl (3600 or 4200).
ok if i got the 8s what controler would i need would it beable to go over 45? geard high enough w/out becoming burning
I would use the warrior 9920 or MGM 80 amp or 120 amp controller. On 8 cells, 45 mph in a pede is pretty easy to do(although driving it is a little tricky).
Ok Thnks For The Help Mike Sorry i asked all these questions ima get a 8s w/ a warrior 99 on 8 cells ne how how muck faster would the lehner 5300 mgm 80 on 8 cell been and wich 1 would get more runtime ( how fast do stock savages go?)
No problem regarding the questions. That is what I and the forum are here for! The 8s can be geared to be just as fast as the little Lehner, due to its greater torque. The 8s, 8 celled pede will easily beat a savage (.25, SS or otherwise).
ok so i will be ordering them rims bowties maxx adapters and the 8 s can you let me know how much i need to send you do you do money order or can you do creditcard by phone let me know what you can do
Money order or credit card is fine by me. Paypal works also. The rims are actually $15/pair(just looked them up). The bow ties are $22/pair. The adapters are $25. I think I can mash them all into a flat rate box, so shipping would be $7.70. I have blue chrome titans in stock(stablemaxx). I also have the stablemaxx "claws" in chrome(same price, same rim with a different wheel design). LMK how you want to pay.
Mike |
ok i will do either but if i do credit it have to be by phone and do you have the titans in just plain chrome or white , white preeribly if you go n order them.ok i will send you 176.6$ via money order ill let you know ehat ima do umm ill have 140 (tmro-Mon) so ill have it by tuesday n ill let you know when im going to send it out so you can give me the shiping info( if you have to orde sumthing let me know when you get it in
Not in stock, unfortunately. I could get them, as well as the dyeable ones this week if you wanted. The "talon" wheels are pretty nice as well(think i called them "clwas" before). The talon wheels are actually lighter than the titans by a little bit.
yah but i rather the titans they are alot nice n i have the talonz i dont really like them yah id like the white ones
I will pick them up for you this week.
ok thanks im also gettin the 8s just so you know i added up its 176.7 if im wrong let me know
oh by the way the 8s is the same as the hacker c40 8s rite? n how many cell can u run on the 8s n warrior 9920
Nearly the same as the Hacker motor. Don't forget to add shipping to the total! You could get away with up to 10 or so cells with this combo. 8 will be more than enough, though!
ok but will i need a rec pack? w/ the warrior
Not on 8 cells you won't. Less than eight a receiver pack is recommended, though. It actually will help keep the front end on the ground.
Ok thks and if you dnt already pick up them rims ill take the chrome ones and would you add the adaoters to the motor? and the esc /w deans when i order that bc i never solderd b4 n i dont wanna mess ne thing up
Chrome Titans, right?
yah chrome titans,thanks
whats a good wing to put on a maxx size body (buggy wing)
All 1/8 wings are pretty similar, so take your pick.

hey mike do they make just plain dish wheels that would fit the bowties and offset n be able to fit on the pede w/o ne problems? bc im basicaly making my pede look like the 1 thats above :[ except with a dogeram body by proline ( thats a revo not a pede lol) please let me know before you piick them titans up becuz if they make offset dishes id prefer them.
unless you already did sorry for all the changes and are you sure the 8s would be beter bc iv been looking around and people still recomend the lehner. idk man i jsut want the beter proformance for the money since they are 20$ apart |
With maxx size wheels, the little Lehner motor will run quite hot (trust me, I own a FLM pede that has the lehner basic 4200 in it!). I think the larger Lehner would be the better choice, followed by the Feigao, followed by the smaller Lehner motor in your case.
Also, I will search for the proline dish wheels for you. They were available with wide offset last time I checked. |
ok ill get the 8s or will the 6s be faster but ne ways all i wanna do is got atleast 40 mph bash n passibly race at some time i just want it to go faster than a savage or a t maxx just so i have bragging rites i hope the 8s will do it i also want i bc its cheapier so.
6s in heavy car + more cells = explosion waiting to happen. Stick with the 8s and make a purchase, this going back and forth isn't healthy, I know from experiance haha.
The 8s on 8 cells will flat out spank a t-maxx or savage if you have good cells. Stick with the 8s and you will be happy.
ok thks guys im just 1 of them people who get an ideal and can get it out of my head and i cant make up my mind but 8s and the 9920 sound good to me on 8 cells thats( 8 gp 3700 mostlikley if not the 3300's ) so ima get them two, them bow ties / adapters n them wheels ( dishes ) if not ill take the titans thanks mike and every 1 for the help. oh and i had 1 question since the wheels i got now are for the nitro pede they have berrings in them when i put the maxx wheels on do they get berings also? ( im selling the old 1s and wanna know if i shuld keep the berings) thanks again. -TwzteD
Keep the bearings.
ok will do ( was planing on it ) but do you know if i will need em 4 the maxx wheels ( the guy mite need em ) ill give em to him if i dont need them if he asks for them
