Yery nice looking truck!
Almost too nice to use. I like the black and cf look, very slick! |
Is that the Tomahawk aluminum arms anodized black? Looks SICK!
Yes they are, thanks, it actually looks better in person, I am going to anodize everything else black next time I take it apart chassis and all.
Dang . . . sweet. :intello:
I've got the Badlands on my ST-1. They're great bashing tires and last a while. Have you thought about getting the CRT mudguards to help keep the chassis clean?
Awesome looking truck dude! I've noticed that a lot of peoples Quarks have white motor wires, mine are pink orange and yellow, wonder if there's a difference. How's the temps?
I think it would look sick if you anodized the heatsink of the Quark. Just my opinion though....
that WOULD look sick, would draw more heat off too. I'd like to see someone do an ESC using copper heat sinks, it would look flashy and be more efficient as copper is not only a great conductor, its a great heat shedding metal too(better than aluminum)
I agree with squee - the black a-arms look friggen amazing.
The whole truck looks amazing actually. Good work! |
I've never seen a Neu look so small on a truck- they are actually rather large vehicles. What be your motor of choice there sir? Looks cleaner than almost anything else I've seen so far- excellently thought out conversion.
As for the motor wire colour- it seems S&T took my comments about the garsish looking wires to heart and changed them to white, same as the AirMaster esc (I can dream cant I?...). |
I liked the Neon colors more than the white...
Guess so, I kinda like the colors myself :) I always thought that it was the distinguishing factor for Quark products.
Wooooooow!!!
Great!! |
Cart213 the mud guards dont fit vety well with the CP 2 body I use thats why I did not use them.
Squee, I agree anodizing the heat sink would look better, but it is already thermal epoxied to the quark, I have no idea how to get that stuff apart, if I did I would probably pull the quark out of its case and anodize it too and have someone airbrush the plastic top pieces, it sounds like too much work though. Neil it is a 1515 2.5y I think the shocks and slightly more offset wheels make the truck look bigger, motor look smaller. The shocks are the new jammin bigbores. I like the neon better than the white too. Thanks for all of the positive comments |
sweet dude. very clean
*raises an eyebrow* Hmm, I kinda thought the funky colored wires looked abit.... funky; personal taste I guess. Still, looks very nice.
This is one clean setup. I'm sending you a PM :)
