A RC Dude 01.16.2008 10:12 PM

Why doesn't my signature show up?

i can't seem to get my sig to show up!

A RC Dude 01.16.2008 10:13 PM

ops, ok now it's up. i guess it just doesn't show on old posts?

Matthew_Armeni 01.16.2008 10:18 PM

Yeah, it will only show up on posts that you made after you put up your sig.

A RC Dude 01.16.2008 10:22 PM

ok so now i know.

Serum 01.17.2008 01:34 PM

and it's not considered a signature..

neweuser 01.17.2008 02:32 PM

Kinda is but not

Serum 01.17.2008 02:39 PM

it kind of is not..

cembom 01.17.2008 02:48 PM

Wtf is it or is it not...

BrianG 01.17.2008 03:22 PM

And BTW: "An RC Dude" sounds better IMO.

neweuser 01.17.2008 03:28 PM

it kind of is not and really can't be, but kinda not. :)

I agree Brian, it sounds more grammatically correct.

Serum 01.17.2008 05:36 PM

Amen..

An Rc dude, i am a foreigner, and this is one of the first things we get here in school.. since you say ARCEE you need the N behind the A..

Still deciding whether it's a signature or not. I would vote for a no. But then again, I believe in an ideal world without the frick'n refrigerator magnets. they drive me mad..

johnrobholmes 01.17.2008 05:53 PM

I debate this in my head frequently. AN is only supposed to be used before a word starting with a vowel. An egg, an electric buggy, a buggy, a thrashing. An RC is technically incorrect, but sounds better. If I have learned anything from the English language, it is that rules are not followed. How about I before E except after C, unless you are spelling science.

BrianG 01.17.2008 06:00 PM

... and "receive" (and "receiver"). IMO, I think the funky rule applies to "science" because the C is really silent...

True, "R" stands for Radio, which starts with a consonant. Normally, this would be preceeded with an "a". But since you are abbreviating it as "RC" (pronounced ARCEE), it is essentially a different word and not derived from what it stands for. So, the "an" rule applies.

The English language must use fuzzy logic.

And Rene; refrigerator magnets make you mad? That's... ummm... odd. I suppose once one considers past examples (anteater costumes and such), that's not really a departure from your norm.

I shouldn't talk though; certain shades of yellow makes me very angry and aggressive.

i would suggest you not to buy a schulze controller. they come in a funky yellow color and their smoke tends to get white-yellowish too..

Ever been to Manhattan? if it's the yellow-ish of the cabs, i can only advice you to stay away from that town too..

i need to find a way to get positive energy from these magnets. They are too weak to make themselves useful as a rotor, and too strong to simple forget about them.. They really freak me out. You think Cameron Diaz has them?

How does my signature look today bytheway? sexy and healthy?

BrianG 01.17.2008 06:15 PM

Most yellows are ok (though there is no shade of yellow I like). Mostly, it's the yellow shade close to yellowish blackboard chalk. I can literally feel my blood pressure start to rise, breathing deepening, etc. It's really strange.

I have no intention in buying any kind of Schulze ESC. I don't need any of my things to spontaneously burst into flame. :mdr:

For the magnets, make one of those "magic magnetic bracelets" you see in various stores. They are supposed to do everything from alleviating minor aches and pains, to cure cancer. :sarcastic:

Umm, "sexy" or "healthy" are not words that I would use to describe your signature. Or is it a signature?

mkrusedc 01.21.2008 03:24 AM

You guys make my head spin. It must be time to go to bed.

(mine is not a sig either. it is a link.)

lincpimp 01.21.2008 03:41 AM

This thread needs a good back hand to the face, Pimp style!

I have always wondered if RC stands for remote control or radio control? The slang term for out transmitters is the "radio" but that may have only come about because they usually transmit via am or fm, like a traditional music radio. So anything employing 2.4ghz is not really a "radio"? I prefer remote control myself, because it describes what we are actually doing, controlling the vehicle remotely. Plus when was the last time you turned on the futaba to listen to the news?

By the way, my sig has nothing to do with my name, or nickname, or screen name. It is a joke, much like this thread!! HAHAHAHA

ClodMaxx 01.21.2008 10:53 AM

my first 2.4ghz product was a cordless home phone.

now i answer my calls with my spektrum and control my trucks with my sony. wait.... what?

A RC Dude 01.21.2008 11:16 AM

WOW! Where was I???? and about my name, idk what rule ur talking about that supposts to make it an instead of a. i'll i knew was r is a constanant so it should be A rc right?

and for my sig. it's the only thing i can think of right now!

Pimp, this is pathetic;

'Pimp style' in which you mean you are the only person who does things in his own particular way? speak about yourself as a third person? that indicates in low self knowledge, or the feeling to have low self knowledge, a form of psychic disorder, where feelings and mind are not on the same level.

a rc dude;
What's up with this;

'Working on getting e-maxx BL' not planning on robbing a bank are you? Next thing you know we've got a seccond Nbacz, begging for money, and making card-board conversion. I see a lot of MSN language in your posts; we talk sh$t, that's for sure, but can you please talke decent sh%t?

idk if u been here b4? ur 2 ur not?

Come on.. get a grip... ditch the MSN style.. it's so 2006..

BL_RV0 01.21.2008 01:53 PM

Ok. Sorry if i have done something to make you dislike me or to remind you of a bad guy.
Working on getting e-maxx BL means that i'm trying to get all the money i can(not by begging or robbing but by selling old things and working for it) to get a brushless system and all the transmishion/driveline parts installed on my e-maxx for it so it will be fun to drive agian.

so who is Nbacz? Card-board conversion?

So what do you mean by the MSN style? Do you mean typing stuff like ur instead for you'r? I just don't type fast and i really don't like typing much eather so i normally try to keep myself from having to type as much.

And i have been here before, I am also The*rc*dude but when i signed up agian, it was becouse i didn't remember what my old username or password was. And i couldn't remember what e-mail i used for it eather. so i signed up agian. Turns out that i was signed in as my other name on a differant part of my computer becouse i used to use my brother's user name to sign into the computer (before i made my username). So now if i use my brother's username on the computer and come here it'll sign me in as The*RC*Dude. At the time though i didn't know this. I thought it would have me signed in even if i was using a differant part of the computer like at some other sites.

I hope that i havn't done anything wrong or anything to make anyone think i am that Nbacz person.

After all of the "questionable substances" I have done this weekend, My feelings and mind are no where near each other!

And why is my "pimp style" pathetic? Maybe you are just jealous cause my "workers" always give me a cut of their earnings! HAHA!

I will post the paperwork, I have been diagnosed with a mental disorder, moronus severus, which was probably cause my recent outbreaks of chirpys. Chirpys is a canarial disease and it is untweetable, so I have to suffer through it. I do apploigize for saying anything off color, sometimes I can't help myself.

Ho Ha Ho Ha HO Ching Chang Wanna see my Wa......
