need a brushless motor mount for my Kyosho Kanai II

I've got a Kyosho Kanai II (MP 7.5) 1/8th scale buggy that I'd like to put a brushless system in. Where can I buy all the parts I need? Links to the webpage of the motormount, brushless esc, brushless motor, and lipo batteries would be greatly appreciated.

Motor mount; check the RC-Monster store, everything you need is there.

thanks

which brushless motor, brushless esc, and LiPo batteries would you recommend?

Honestly how much money do you want to invest and what is your timing on purchase?

What kind of charger do you have?

I don't mind investing quite a bit of money into it, just as long as the performance is at par with other nitro powered 1/8th scale race buggies. As with the LiPo charger and batteries, the best buy to get me long run times and be able to race would be preferred.

Isn't it possible to buy brushless systems (esc and motor) in increasing levels of power. For example, a level 1 brushless system would be the most basic that could keep up with other nitro powered buggies. A level 2 brushless system would obviously be an increase in power, so a level up on the brushless esc and motor, unless the same esc used in level 1 can handle a more powerful brushless motor. A level 3 would then be a more powerful set-up than a level 2. Thus, for every level up, the power output to the wheels would be higher, resulting in a faster buggy.

I just would like to know what options I have. I know there are several brushless companies such as neu, lehner, novak, etc. to choose from, but I'd like to use what has been field tested and proven without having heating problems.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and recommendations.

Neu 1512 2D motor, Mamba Max ESC, Flight power or Neu 4s lipo and you will need a battery holder and pinion gears

Also a bec

but, the Mamba Max ESC is 2-3s LiPo. Could I use those batteries with Mamba Max ESC?

it will do 4s with a ubec if geared correctly

Charger I like the hyperion ones

But depending on timing you could wait for a MMM which we are now promised will be here in march - 6s + Neu like motor for 300

Try out BrianG's speed calculator. For track most will say gear for 40mph or a bit less, for bashing you can go a bit more.
