Controller for 9L?
I need help choosing a controller for my Emaxx. Im planning on a Feigao 9L on 12 cells. I was pretty much decided on the Warrior 9920, but its out of stock. Im pretty sure the MGM 160 would work, but is that my only other option? I like the computer programming capabilty of the Castle creations barracuda 125, would that work for an emaxx and handle this power?
Also does anyone know how long it will be til the 9920s and castle barracudas are back in stock? |
Skip that barracuda, it is meant for boats. Not for cars/trucks.
How about the MGM120? It would do the trick too.. Normally Mike has got the 9920 back in stock pretty quick.. |
Thanks for the help. I see that the rated limit on the MGM 120 is 12 cells. Does this mean you defintely cant run more than that? I plan to upgrade to Lipo sometime in the distant future, (and up the voltage a little in doing so), and Id like to not have to switch controllers. Right now I think Im going to wait for the 9920, and maybe get the MGM 160 if I get impatient.

The MGM 160 will work well for your application, if not too well. I think you would like the MGM 160 better than the 9920 (assuming everything in the manual about it is correct).

The voltage cut off is a must have for lipoly.. (i thought the MGM had this feature..)
