Hyperion Charger

I just bought 2 max amps 6s 5000mah lipo packs and now need to purchase a charger that will charge a 6s pack and was wondering if anyone had used a hyperion eos 1210i charger and balancer. And is so does it work well and is it user friendly. Thanks

hyperion chargers are some of the best lipo chargers available. I have no experience with an eos 1210i, but have used an eos5i and eos 0606i. I just ordered an eos 0610i for myself.

They are very user friendly.

I will probly never go more than a 6s lipo so would the 0606i be a better choice for me and just add the new maxamps method balancer?

I have Hyperion 0610i. If you need no more than 6S this is perfect charger for you.

Pros:
+ A123
+ PC compatibile
+ integrated balancer
+ 250W
+ network connection of 2 of these if you need >6S

Cons:
- no discharge function (with current firmware)

the 606i is limited to 50watts. you are going to want either the 1210i or 610i.

+1:yes: You will find due to the low output of the 0606i (50 Watts) you will only be able to charge a 6s pack at a max. of 2 amps = slow.
If you go for the 1210i (max. output 180W or 7.1 amps @ 6s) or the 0610i (max. output 250 W or 9.9 amps @ 6s) = fast charge.
I have the 0610i and luv it!!!
Check out this page HERE and have a go at Brians charger calculator.

Hope that helps
Cheers Andrew

P.S. Just be aware that you will need a good power supply to feed the later 2 chargers. Brian has also added a power supply calculator to the page I have linked be sure to check it out as well.

I do not personally own it, but it is nice and most Hyperion chargers are user friendly. I own EOS7i and the MRC 989, I happen to love my 989 as my EOS7i had issues charging my 5s. The 989 does it with out a glitch, and it comes with a powersupply!
