Which bullet connectors?
 

Brushing off all the dust off my Twin Force from the shelf, designing a new frame/suspension setup, I realized the gold plug connectors on my 7XL were the same size as the connectors on the Mini Quake w/ Mamba ESC/Warp 4 2 Turn BL.

My question is... are the 3.5mm gold plugs limiting me any on my 9920/7XL setup? Should I go to the 5.5mm gold plugs or am I fine with what I have currently?

I personally think the plugs are limiting you. Buy some 5.5mm connectors or just direct solder the ESC and motor. Either will work perfect. I run the 5.5mm connectors personally and they work great.
