I wonder if that ESC has the slow ramp-up in throttle that plagues other low-cost air ESCs?

The HV-110 can take bursts near and over 160A. And that's from Joe F at CC in an email. This one says 120A max.

Seems ok for a high V, low A setup when you KNOW the current will be low (even bursts).

120a max is the continuous, IIRC. not sure on the burst.

To me, it says 110A continuous, 120A max. By "max" I assume sustained bursts. This is generally how most ESCs are labeled...

yeah... being an air esc i guess the low burst current is a given. but for 1/2 the price, there should be a way to rig 2 of these esc's for a 110a, 20s lipo configuration. now that would be cool.

Are you saying two ESC's for 1 motor? Or dual ESC dual motor config? Would be nice to do a dual ESC on 1 motor.....I would go 14S lipo /dual 7S wired to 1 Neu 1527 with 860KV's......mega power.

Yeah, but that one already has stacked boards. To double it would mean stacking already stacked FET boards and might become too think and a little cumbersome. I was looking at ESCs that had a good 100A rating on ONE board, and then stacking two of them.
