My latest Savage
Hello to all boys, for some time that I do not write, but I always read with pleasure, here is my last SAVAGE.
The setup is: A123 cells 6S2P Lehner 1940/8 (NEU 1521 1Y is on order) MGM 12018 Flextek armsOfna BigBore shoks And center diff!!! The center diff works very well, the only problem is the ratio (too long) and the 1940 not have enought torque (with 10 tooth pinion) for works Without becoming too hot (85 C°). I hope with the 1521, with much more torque, i Solve the problem. :) http://picasaweb.google.it/ettoresoria/TITANIUM |
I just realized how long it's been since I last saw you post here!
Looks great! It must weigh a lot, with all that aluminum. But you shouldn't have to worry about breaking any parts . |
Yes Metal very long time, but i read all day the forum, i don't post much for my poor english :)
The weight is 5,5 kg ready to run. I hope the 1521 works well with 6S2P A123, and run cool |
Your English is fine and your truck is AMAZING!
|
Thanks Supra...
My 1521 is cooming soon!!! :D |

That is a very slick setup for the center diff mounting. I like that you can remove the whole assembly with only 4 screws. It makes for very easy dif maintenance. Many times when you see a center dif mounted in a truck custom like that it is very difficult to get it out for changing fluid and basic maintenance. I like it allot.
By the way... What shocks are those? They look like a perfect setup. |
In the line where he put Flextec arms he also listed the shocks as being Ofna Big Bore shocks. They certainly do look nice on there!
|
a yea.. Missed that hidden there
Wish I didnt just do the whole LST setup on mine. I think I like that better. Viruss, With that shock setup are you getting the arms to travel the full downtravel, or is the shock length limiting the downtravel? Are they enough to handle that big truck? |
Yes i like disassembly the structure with only 4 screw, is very easy remove center diff, the shock in not long enought to permit the total tavel of arms, the handling with this shocks is good with a 550 oil, i use 30000 oil in the center.

Serum, mine is your ex bashsavage!
For Potreinas: The spur gear are the same. (kyosho 46 thooth), the differences between mine savage and Virusssses Savage are that I mount the losi shocks and the A123 battery are into the chassis while VIrussses Savage has the battery at sides. The motor are different too, Viruss has a 1521, I have a 1515, I use 7S2P, viruss uses 6s2p. The final performance are about the same. Me and Ettore (Viruss) met in this forum and than we discovered that we live in Rome at little distance too, so we become great friends and made our Savage together. |
